Chapter 16

As time went on, Shadow, or Percy, was finally able to master his powers. It took him almost three decades but all the hard work had payed off. With ease, he was able to even freeze time if he wished. He used his powers on a daily basis when he started taking assassin missions again. He stopped hiding behind his hoodie, since he figured that Order was right. He was a different person now, and Percy was gone. Percy's looks were his looks, and he used to be Percy. He had really changed, not only his name, and his physical appearance didn't shame him. He was himself, and he was proud of that. He was proud of his past, no matter how hideous, since it made him Shadow. And now, he was Shadow.

He no longer lost control of his powers. He had complete control and he learned to live with them. He found that he loved the fear that they caused in his enemy's eyes. There were some that would even completely surrender after just seeing his power. Soon, word got around about his new found power and there were some missions in which his enemy would surrender when they found out who they were going to be hunted down by. Those missions weren't the common, but they did happen from time to time.

Before he left, Shadow had given both Nico and Sandy his contact information if they ever wanted to join the Chaos Army. Sandy didn't take the offer immediately like he thought she would. She stayed on Earth for a few years and finished her ten years of service to the camp. Afterwords, she decided to travel, saying that she could take the risk. She visited many countries, but most of them were in Europe or Asia. After a few years of traveling, she decided that Earth wasn't as big as she wanted it to be. She then contacted Shadow, deciding that she would be immortal, go through the years of training, and help out in the army if she got a six month break every couple years to just go to random planets and places.

Shadow and Sandy both decided not to get together romantically, finding that they valued their friendship more. Sandy was more social than Shadow, and therefore more involved in the social happenings and latest gossips. However, she would still force Shadow to take a break once in a while and drag him with her and a couple friends. They'd do something that Sandy had planned while she was bored. Most of those things were a little too extreme but they were fun, in the end when all the hard work was over.

Nico never became part of the Chaos Army like Sandy did. He would visit sometimes, but he loved his life on Earth too much to leave. He missed Shadow/Percy, which he had started calling Frozen Fishy since he had heard how exactly Order had been defeated from Gold. However, it wasn't like before when he didn't even know if Frozen Fishy was alive or not. He'd get news updates from Sandy, and Sandy would make sure to include him whenever she figured that Frozen Fishy needed a vacation and she needed to make a plan to kidnap him from his missions.

Nico soon became romantically involved with Will, which Sandy claimed to have predicted years before. Frozen Fishy, Leo, and Frank gave him an extra large pack of condoms, which Leo said that they all contributed in with the cost. Hazel just congratulated him, which he was thankful for and prefered over the condoms.

Life at the Camp continued as normal, though the stories about Percy Jackson continued. However, they refused to mention the Chaos Army and their involvement in the Titans and Giant War. They couldn't, even if they wanted to, because Chaos had ordered that Earth still remain in the dark while the rest of the universe progressed. Every planet had it's own group of sadistic and dark minded individuals, Earth just had more of them than normal. And many people on Earth would jump at the opportunity to go to another planet, but it was not for educational or relaxation purposes.

A.N.: So... yeah. I had actually written this a couple months ago along with chapter 15 (more like a year but editing is just a pain, I forgot my password, and I didn't want to) and... wow. I can't believe I used to write like this. Writing was like an escape back then, and it still is, and I can see how much I've grown since writing this and how much I'm not that person anymore. It's weird....
