When you save a strangers life, bring your sleeve or coat up to your mouth, and 'covertly' say "Mission completed. Your great grandmother/grandfather is safe. *month*, *day*, *year*. Yes sir, I will get straight back to our time presently." Then turn back to the stranger you rescued and say "Your great grandson is a very important man." Then speed walk as far away as possible.
