When Bill walked up, Mary was jumping up and down on an old coat and chanted "16, 16, 16..." with each jump.
"What are you doing, Mary?" Bill inquired.
"I'm jumping on this, and each time I land I sing 16, 16, 16... Do you want to try?" Mary replied.
"Sure!" So Mary got off the coat and Bill got on. "16, 16, 16, 16... You're right! This is really fun!" Bill exclaimed just as Mary swept the coat out from under him, making him fall over.
She put the coat on top of Bill, and chanted "17, 17, 17..."
