I parked the car outside Ella's driveway and noticed hades car parked besides mine

So the ass was still living here despite cheating on my baby sister

Furious I got out of the car and closed the door with a thud

I was ready to punch hade in the face

Keeping my calm I walked into the house, the maid let me inside

"Where's Isabell?" I asked

"She's playing with the sir" she replied

Clenching my jaw, "Please go and attend to her, we have some family matters to discuss"

She nodded and left immediately

"Oh and inform hade I'm here" I added

"Yes sir" came her small voice

I made my way to the kitchen as usual
Ella was in the there baking, now that I looked closely she gave the image of the perfect housewife baking for her family.

She'd given the impression of having a lovely family

And what hurt me most was that she tried to fool me with it

Instead of sharing her pain with me she chose to hide it away

She looked up at me, a big fake smile plastered on her face, "Lucas!"

If Diane hadn't told me the reality I might have believed her smile but now I can exactly see though it

I smiled back, looking at her closely

You don't even know what's actually happening do you? Have you seen Ella? Have you noticed her pale skin and the bags under her eyes?

Recalling Diane's words I could now see how the light was missing on my sisters face

How hollow her eyes were from the inside

How dull her once vibrant face had become

How absolutely broken she looked

I immediately regretted how I've acted with her all these years

Regretted how for granted I took her

Regretted how my girlfriend treated her

"I'm sorry about my behaviour today" I said

An emotion flickered though her eyes

My sister was shocked because I apologise to her?

She covered it up immediately, "Oh it's nothing, you're busy I understand" she smiled

I nodded

"Ah Lucas my man! To what do I owe this pleasure" came hades voice from the back

The anger in me had returned

He was acting as if everything was okay, as if he and Ella were one happy couple

As soon as Hade entered the kitchen I walked towards him and punched him square in the jaw
