I was currently seated next to Ella on the big brown sofa in Mamas office.

Mama had an office at home too, she'd usually study the cases here and then have appointments with her patients in the clinic

Honestly this was one of the most comfiest places in the house.

The room was huge with an amazing view to the beach.

I remember when Ella completely shut me out five years back I'd come here to talk to Mama about it and it'd really make me feel better

I know you're probably wondering why I dragged Ella here after we just came tires from New York

But don't worry we've had our fair share of sleep and food

Mama was seated behind the desk with here glasses resting on the bridge of her nose.

Papers were scattered on the table as she wrote something down

"Now Ella how are you feeling right now?" Mama asked

"I don't know how to feel.." she replied

Mama nodded

"We're going to start this session now, you can tell me to stop when ever you feel like. Don't put too much pressure on yourself. Only speak up if you feel you're ready to speak." Mama smiled

Ella nodded

"So where do you want to start from? How about you tell me the first year of your marriage?" Mama asked

Ella nodded again, "The first year of my marriage was absolutely wonderful. Hade and I were completely in love with each other. Everything was like a fairytale. He'd make breakfast for me, take me out on dates, surprise me on my birthday.."

Mama noted things down in the paper, "So I get the first year was going well.. how about you tell me where the problems began?"

Ella looked at me with a hurtful expression in her eyes, I gave her hand a light squeeze

'You can do it' I smiled

"It was our second anniversary.. I'd found out a week go that I was pregnant with Isabell. I thought this was going to be the best surprise for him. I thought he'd be so happy!" Ella's voice began tearing up

"He came home from the office that night and I had specially made arrangements for a candle light dinner. Everything was going great until I announced that I was pregnant" Ella began crying now

"He immediately stopped eating and he paled out. He seated screaming at me telling me that he didn't want the baby.. he called me a gold digger and all sorts of nasty names. I feel ashamed using the words he used for me."

I gently stroked Ella arm to calm her down

"He said I was a whore! Said the baby wasn't his! I loved him so much, so much and this is what he did to me! He pushed me aside and drove somewhere and didn't even return home that night. But me being the stupid idiot waited for him! I stayed awake the whole night and I didn't even bother to change! He returned home in the morning in the most awful condition. You know a woman finds out from a mans condition where he's been the night. H-he was with another woman! I spent the whole night waiting for him while he was comforting himself in the arms of another woman!" Ella cried

"Pass her the tissue Di" Mama said

I gave her a tissue as she dried her tears

"You know he cheated on you so why did you stay?" Mama asked

"At first I loved him. I thought of giving him another chance not only for me but our baby. And he said he was drunk and it was a mistake. Now that I'm looking back I should've never believed him but I was so gullible and he knew it! He used it against me!" Ella cried again

"Did he cheat on you during your pregnancy?" Mama asked

Ella cried and stayed quite for a long time

"I take he did?" Mama asked again

"At the time I was not aware.. I found out recently that he had been cheating with different women all along" Ella sobbed

"And what about after you gave birth?" Mama asked

Ella laughed, "he wasn't there when I gave birth. My own husband wasn't there!"

"He was on a business trip to Maldives" Ella continued

"But that was all a lie, he'd never been to Maldives he was right here in Michigan with some other woman" Ella said

"How did you find out" Mama asked

"It came up the other day on the dinner. Lucas said people form his company including Hade were going for the first time to Maldives"

Mama wrote a few things down on her paper, "I don't understand didn't your parts know he'd been to Maldives when you gave birth?"

Ella started crying again, this time her whole body shaking

"I was alone when I gave birth. The maids rushed me to the hospital.. mom and dad were in London with Lucas because he was dealing with some issues" Ella cried

Ella was alone during the most difficult time of her life?

"Oh dear!" Mama said "that must be difficult"

I hugged Ella

"Hade had called them and told them he was with me and covered everything up" Ella said

"I was all alone with my baby! My hormones were all over the place.. I went into depression and for months I took anti depressants" Ella cried

"How did you deal with it and are you still on drugs?" Mama asked

"I stopped having them a week ago" Ella said

"And that's when you went to visit Diane, I presume?" Mama asked again

Ella nodded looking at me, "It felt good to be with her.. all those years I needed my best friend with me. Di, would always tell me the right thing to do and I was left all alone! I didn't have anyone! Everyone was having problems of their own and I didn't want to burden them with my problems"

"Oh Ella! I kept on sending you emails and messages, you could've replied to them" I said

Ella scrunched her brows, "emails? Letters? I never received any!"

How was that possible?

I sent Ella letters every now and then

That's what Mama to me to do, so I would send her letters and emails after every two days..

Some things aren't adding up

There's definitely something wrong

Mama looked at me with a questioning look in her eyes but she gave me that look telling me that we'd discuss it later
