Before going for work I'd decided to visit Ella in the morning, specially after what happened last night

She looked happier than she'd ever been

She was even happier when I'd come to visit her

We were talking in the lounge when we heard Isabell scream

"Mommy look it's dee dee"

It didn't take me long to figure out who dee dee was

Diane of course, is remembered Isabell calling her that on the lunch

Diane had always been a morning bird just like me

She liked to wake up early and do everything on time

There was so much we both had in common

The saying usually goes as 'opposites attract'

But for us it was different

We were like two different sides of the same book

As if God had actually created her for me

But then Alex came

And I understood she wasn't the one for me

She was a witch, giving everyone the illusion that she loved them

"Diane is here" Ella smiled "she's always been so good with kids"

I smiled

Yes she had

For her it came naturally or maybe it was the same bewitching spell

"You remember when sara came over in the summers? She peed all over me and kept on crying but the moment Diane took her in her arms it was like magic" Ella said

Remembering the memory I nodded "I do"

"I know you're committed right now, but I also know you've always loved Her.. even when she supposedly cheated on you, you couldn't get her out of your head" Ella sighed

I arched a brow, "What are you trying to say?"

"Don't get angry at me for this but Juliet isn't the one for you, she doesn't bring out the best in you like Di does. I just don't want you to end up in an unhappy marriage like I did"

I looked at her without saying anything

There used to be a time when Diane would bring out the best in me

But now

The instant I see her I want to punch something

And about me loving her?

Do I still love her?

Yes you do, if you didn't your heart won't hurt so much when you see her

The deep part of my heart always told me that

But it was nothing I'd confess

"Thanks for looking out for me, really. But what Juliet and I have is special. She's the reason I'm who I am today. Without her I would've been lost" I said thinking about Juliet

She was the reason I moved on

The reason I lived again
