Pain. To some its an addiction, to others its a form of escape from those who flagrantly excoriate them into misery. Kids today suffer more and more as their peers and society expect so much from them, and yet they yield nothing. Odious words spoken in secret, forcing kids to write malign words about their own despair. Everyday is mor demeaning than the last as canard tales are spread like wildfire. These kids despair at the thought of being alone. These kids try so hard but are unable to produce anything worthy enough of recognition amoung the more popular of their peers. School has become a battle ground of sociological malarkey, and its never ceasing cycle of pain and misery. Doctors claim that psychotherapy is the only way to treat this "disorder" we have come to call "cutting" if only they knew the true meaning of depression and the great emotions that create it. These kids under great dereliction overt to "cutting" and sleep to retreat their desolate lives. Science claims that these actions are addictive due to drugs released by the body's reaction to pain, but a closer look reveals a deeper meaning into this insidious plot. They think that therapist and anti-depressants will help undermine the problem, but rather instead, they make it much worse. The problem lies within the sinister monster we call a "perfect society." They deem what we call "delinquents" these kid into exile. They manipulate and obfuscate public opinion to think that these "delinquents" are outcast of society. Condemned to a life of ridicule and anguish these dithering adolescents only crave love and attention wanting, crying so desperately to be heard. These kids live their lives in a constant state of ambivalence, unsure of what love really is or if it even exists. Pills and talk of changing their ways rattle their brains. Instead of listening, our "perfect society" behaves odiously toward them like a disease, unwanted and cursed. Being kind has always been the cure behaving magnanimously and being mellifluous. However in a world of odium there is very little we can do to heal the damage from this "perfect society." I leave you now to think on these things so that you know that being disparate has hope for those in despair.
