I cant belive this day is finally here. I got of the hotel bed and headed to the bathroom to get ready for the day. I took a shower and brushed my teeth before putting on a sundress and some sandals, grabbing my keys. I kissed the picture of Aliyyah that I brought with me and headed to the spa to meet up with the girls. Once I got there I confirmed my reservation and went into the locker room. As I was putting my things into my locker Jaylin and Felicia walked in followed by Ariane and my mother. 

"Hey hon" they all said kissing my cheek.

"Are you excited for the big day?" my mom asked.

"Yeah but a little nervous" I admitted. "This is my second marriage mama and I'm only 26. Do you know how that makes me look?"

"Aww baby. don't worry bout what any other person says. This is your day. Don't let anybody ruin it" she said hugging me.

"Yeah fuck them. Excuse my language" Felicia said. We all laughed at her and headed to get our nails and hair done.

Alonzo

I got out of my bed and headed into Aliyyah's room. 

"Hey baby. Today's the big day" I said kissing my fingers and putting them on her portrait. I smiled and went back into my room. I put on some jeans and a t-shirt before heading to the barber shop to meet up with my niggas Chris, Quinton and Terrell.

"Wassup niggas? Yall ready for my big day?" I said dapping them up.

"Waddup Lon. Man I can believe you getting married. The playa playa himself" Q said.

I laughed. "Nah man that aint me no more. Shantay she brings out the best in me and I was willing to change for her so I did. Besides you getting married in December"

"Yeah.  Ari's a real special girl, getting me to change my ways and all"

"So Chris how's Jaden?" Terrell asked.

"Aww man, he's good. I love that little boy man." He siad smiling.

I went and sat in the barber chair so that the guy could cut my hair.

???

I put on some slacks and a button down shoes with my gators to head to Shantay and Alonzo's wedding. Although I doubt anyone will be getting married.

Shantay

We got to the church at around 10. The wedding started at 11. I put on my dress and shoes and my mother tightened it up for me. Ariane did my makeup flawlessly. I stood and looked into the mirror and tears bruned the back of my eyes.

"Mommy, I look so beautiful" She handed me a bracelet that had 20 charms on it

"Something old.

Jaylin put a tine blue scrunchie on my viel" something blue.

Ariane handed my a pinky ring with a heart on it. "Something borrowed.

Felicia gave me a diamond necklace "Something new" I smiled and hugged them all as they headed out of the room. Shawn came in and smiled at me.

"You look beautiful cuz" 

"Thanks"

"You ready?" he asked holding his arm out to me.

"Ready" I said looping it with his.

We got to the church dors and the music began to play.

Well its been 5 years

We got to the alter and the reverend started speaking.

"Who gives this bride away?"

"I do" Shawn said handing me to Alonzo.

"Dearly beloved, we are gathered together here, in the sight of God, and in the presence of these witnesses, to join together this man and this woman, in holy matrimony; which is an honorable estate, instituted by God, and signifying unto us the mystical union which exists between Johnnie Williams and his Church; The holy estate Pastor Johnnie adorned and beautified with his presence in Cana of Galilee. It is therefore not to be entered into unadvisedly, but reverently, discreetly, and in the eyes of God. Into this holy estate these two persons come now to be joined. The couple has wriiten their own vows which they have written from their hearts"

"I Shantay Powell, take you Alonzo to be my lawful wedded husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part. You have been here for me more than anyone especially with the death of Aliyyah. I love with my mind, my heart, my body, and my soul and I will forever cherish you. I promise to be the faithful loving wife you always wanted" I said with tears in my eyes. He smiled and wiped them away.

"I Alonzo Victor take you Shantay Powell to be my lawful wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, till death us do part. My heart has been with you since the eight grade and it will always be. I love you unconditionally and will never let anyone come in between us. I love you so much" There wasnt a dry eye in the house.

"If there's anyone here who feels like these two should not be married speak now or forever hold your peace" the pastor said.

"I OBJECT!!!" someone yelled. Everyone gasped and looked at the man who said it. But no it couldnt be he was dead. We killed him. His face and hands were covered in burns.

"Surprised to see me here?" he said walking up on the altar

"Zaire" I whispered.
