Alonzo, Quentin, Aliyyah and I were currently at Denny's enjoying breakfast waiting for Ariane to show up.

"So what's she like?" Quentin asked.

"She's sweet, very pretty, she's got a good head on her shoulders and she could probably balance yo ass out" I said.

"Mama can I get the smiley face pancakes and sausage?" Aliyyah asked.

"Yes baby. You can get whatever you want" I said.

Alonzo chuckled "I've heard those words before"

I choked on my orange juice and started blushing.

"Lon! This is a family restaurant. Keep ya sexual innuendos to ya self please" Quentin said rubbing his temples. I looked to the door and saw Ariane looking for us.

"Here she is now" I said waving her over.

Ariane

I saw Shantay sitting at a table with I'm guessing her daughter, her boyfriend and someone else.

She got up and hugged me. "Hey boo glad you made it. This is my daughter Aliyyah, my boyfriend Alonzo and his friend Quentin aka Q" she said introducing me.

"Nice to meet y'all. I'm Ariane" I said shaking hands with them. Quentin grabbed my hand and kissed it.

"The pleasure is all mine" he said looking into my eyes.

He was definitely a charmer, not to mention gorgeous as hell. I sat next to him and we all ordered our food.

"So. How did you and Alonzo meet, because I heard you were with someone named Trey" I asked. I was curious to know.

"Well... Alonzo was my first real boyfriend back in 8th grade we dated for a year and a half before I moved here, so we broke up. I met this boy named Marcus but he cheated on me with my ex bestfriend Tracy because i wouldn't have sex with him and Trey was there for me through it. We eventually got together and got married. We were together for 9 years. He the it all away to Do the same thing Marcus did. Cheat with Tracy. Alonzo was there to help me pick up the pieces and we got back together" she said. Alonzo put his arm around her and kissed her temple.

"Wow that's a lot to deal with. So who's Aliyyah's father?"

"Quentin" she said eating a piece of pancake.

"Wait what? Where does he fit into all this?" I asked looking at him.

"I can explain this" Quentin said "I was with Shantay's sister, Chanelle. We were high school sweet hearts, just a few years above these two. She got pregnant during her junior year and she was scared that I was gonna leave her so she left and took Shantay wit her. I found out a couple years ago that she died giving birth" he sighed. I heard Aliyyah sniffle as Shantay rubbed her back. "I tried to get custody of her but they told me that Shantay already had custody of her. When Lon told me that he and Tay were back together I saw as my second chance to be in my daughter's life"

"But everything happens for a reason and if I had to do it all again just to be where I am now, I would" Shantay said smiling.

I smiled with her. "So you invited me to breakfast to air all your dirty laundry?" I said laughing. They laughed too.

She put her hands over her mouth so that only I could see what she was saying.

Actually I did it to hook up you and Quentin she mouthed. I looked over at him talking to Aliyyah while she giggled at what he said.

I did the same thing she did

He is kinda cute she nodded her head in agreement.

"Watch what you say Tay" Alonzo said without looking up.

"What is you talkin bout Lon?" She giggled.

"I see everything girl"

She smacked her teeth "ion know what you talkin bout"

"I bet you don't" he said.

She just looked at me and I giggled.

"Will that be all for you today or would you like dessert" the waiter asked. He looked at me and winked and Quentin put his arm around me.

"Nah man we good, but could you bring us some to go plates" he said showing his pearly whites.

"The waiter smacked his teeth and walked off.

"Why'd you do that?" I asked him.

"Cause ain't no nigga bouta be checkin my girl out" he said nibbling on my ear. I ain't gon lie that had me blushing mad hard but he didn't need to know that.

"I'm not your girl so that was uncalled for"

"You will be soon" he said pecking my lips. Oh.My.God his lips was soft as hell. I could get used to this type of attention.

*Later that night*

Mia

I had just got done getting ready for my date with Trey. He told me to dress sexy but classy.

I had on a red dress with a heart neckline and black belt around the waist. I had on black Christian Loubitons and M•A•C lip gloss with light eye shadow. I went downstairs.

"Josh, how do I look?" Josh and I were roommate but he had no idea that I was plotting against Shantay.

"Oooooh hanny, you look fantabulous. If I was straight I'd hit that he said smacking his lips.

"But you're not so you won't" I ran my fingers through my hair and looked at my watch. "Where is he?" As soon as the words left my mouth there was a knock at the door. I checked my reflection one more time before answering the door.

Trey stood in a gray Versace tux and matching Stacy Adams. In his hands was an assortment of lillies, daisies, and roses.

"Beautiful flowers for a beautiful lady" he said handing me the flowers.

"Thank you" I smelled the flowers and they smelled heavenly.

"Josh would you mind putting these in a vase for me?" I asked.

"Hanny Im tryna watch Love and Hip-Hop and Lil Fizz sexy ass aint got no shirt on at the moment. You better put yo own damn flowers in the vase"

I laughed at him and put the flowers in my vase. "Don't ask me to do nun else fa yo ass"

"Bye hanny, have fun"

"Brother?" He asked.

"Nah that's my roommate Josh we used to work together but I quit"

"Really, how come"

"Let's jus say the owner had something of mine and wouldnt give it back" I said getting in on the passenger side.

"That sucks. All I can say is get ready for a night of fun" he smiled and pulled off.

Are Quentin and Ariane gonna get together?
