*3 Weeks Later*

I went to the hospital to visit Shantay. She's been been there three weeks and I figured I could at least visit since she was there because of me.

I went into her room and sat in the chair next to her bed.

"Hey baby" I said as I kissed her hand. "I miss you. I've been so lonely without you and Aliyyah at home with me. I see you got a lot of flowers and balloons. See? Everyone misses you so you needa come back." I got up and looked around.

"Some of these flowers have cards ya know? This one's from your mom she said 'Hope you get well soon dear. I love you.' Ha I love your mom."

I went and read through all of em and stopped when I saw one from the Florida State Penitentiary. It said: Shantay, I'm truly sorry that all of this happened. I heard you were in the hospital from being shot. I know how it feels to lose a baby. I hope whoever did this to you will get what they deserve. Get well soon and I hope we can become friends again. With Love, Tracy.

"She knows how it feels to lose a baby? She killed the damn baby" I said to Shantay.

"Looks like I should pay her a little visit" I said aloud before leaving the room.

Shantay

Everything is so dark. Its like I'm in a deep sleep and can't get up. I've been able to hear everyone come in and talk to me. Aliyyah and Alonzo would come in and talk to me everyday. Telling me how much they miss me and how I need to come back home.

What surprised me was Tracy's note.

How does she know I'm in the hospital? Why does she want to be my friend all of a sudden? And what does she mean she know what it feels like to lose a baby? I've never lost a baby. It seems quite suspicious.

*The next day*

After I dropped Aliyyah off for a sleepover at Tasha's I headed over to the hospital to see Shantay. I was currently sitting in her room watching Maury. Don't judge me.

"These niggas be embarrassing they selves coming on national TV knowing damn well they lying" I said taking a bite out of my cheeseburger.

"I know right but the girls do it too" I heard Shantay say.

I slowly turned my head to look at her. She was sitting up in the bed watching TV. I pinched myself to make sure I wasn't dreaming.

"Oh my God. Shantay you're finally awake" I said kissing her.

She laughed. "You taste like a cheeseburger"

I laughed too. "Ima go get the nurse" I said running into the hall and grabbing the first nurse I saw. I dragged her in the room and pointed to Shantay.

"Oh my goodness you're up" she said pulling tools out of her pocket and ran a few tests on her.

"Everything seems to be fine. I'll go get a doctor and see what he says" she said walking out.

"Baby I'm so glad you're back. I missed yo lil ass"

"Lil?" she said looking back. "Did it shrink?"

I laughed at her.

"But forreal though I'm hungry as fuck. Can I have some of your burger?" she asked. I gave her the rest of it and she gobbled it up in five seconds and finished off my drink.

"Are you satisfied?" I asked her.

"That depends. How long have I been in here?"

"Bout three and a half weeks"

"Then no. I haven't been satisfied in about three and a half weeks." I shook my head.

"Haven't even been up for an hour and already thinkin bout sex"

"Speaking of sex... I'm pregnant" she said cheesing.
Oh shit no one told her

"Were"

"What?"

"You were pregnant. You lost the baby" I said with my head down.

"I lost my baby?" she said with tears in her eyes.

"Yeah"

She broke down and started crying. I went over and hugged her.

"Why Lon? Why did he have to do that to me?"

"I don't know baby. But he will get his. Trust me on that" I said as she continued to cry into my chest.
Yeah he gone get his.

Felicia

"Hello?" I answered.

"Fee get to the hospital right now! Tay is up!" Jaylin yelled into my ear.

"Sweeear. You lyin!.

"I'm dead ass serious. Get yo ass down here." she said before hanging up on me. I hurried and put on some decent clothes.

"Where you going?" Zaire asked me.

"Shantay's up"

"Oh word. Tell her I said wassup. I'm bouta go see what these streets talkin bout."

"Alright baby be safe" I said kissing him before heading out to see Shantay

When I got there Jaylin Alonzo and Aliyyah were there already. Coddling over Shantay.

I went up to Aliyyah.

"Hey Liyyah. I thought you were going to a sleepover"

"I was but my mom comes first" she said to me. I smiled at her.

"How long has she been up?" I asked Alonzo.

"All day" he said never taking guys eyes off of her.

"How long is she gonna be in here?"

"Doctor said a couple more days to make sure she's good"

"Awesome. We should do something to celebrate"

"Fee she just got out of a coma. Let her get settled first" Jaylin said.

"You're no fun"

"Mom guess what?" Aliyyah said.

"What baby?"

"Uncle Lon let me join the Girl Scouts and we're gonna start selling cookies" she beamed.

"That's good baby. Don't forget to save me a few boxes of Thin Mints"

"I won't"

"Promise?"

"Pinky promise" she said locking her pinky with Shantay's.
