The morning found him walking around the house, exploring a little bit more. It was bigger than he expected. For instance, it was today's morning that he had found a library.

When he walked up the stairs, he watched right in front of him, and saw something. The first time he came, he thought that it was a simple wooden wall. But it wasn't it. He discovered that it was actually a door. He came close to it, and looked carefully, noticing the two handles. It was difficult to tell the difference at first. You had to be very careful to see it. So without second thoughts, he grabbed them, opening the door.

He stood mesmerised at the sight. A huge library was standing there at his feet. It wasn't just a library, it was a huge room. He had to walk down a few stairs to actually be there. There were book cases right and left, covering the walls, reaching the ceiling. Another one stood also there, covering the middle of the room. Books, books, and more books was what Seonghwa could see. He walked right past the cases, feeling the book covers under his fingertips. He picked some books in the process, opening them on random pages, reading a few lines, and putting it back on his position.

Once he reached the end of the cases, he saw a big window on the opposite wall. It had a balcony with chairs and a table, facing the back of the house, so the garden. That was perfect. There was also a small window right next to it, with a small opening facing inwards. It had pillows laying there, and a small table nearby. On the right, in a corner, was an armchair. Seonghwa went and sat immediately there, sinking in the pillows.

He sat there a few moments, just taking in all the peaceful atmosphere. He was so lucky that he had bought this place. It was everything he wanted. Fortunately he didn't took notice on what the locals said to him. He knew that things like that simply don't exist. Maybe be owners were just scared cats. Besides, he stay here in a month, he gets the house for free.

"finally I can have some peace and quiet"

He checked his watch and saw that it was almost noon. He had plenty of time to kill, since he didn't have something to do. It wasn't like he was gonna work. They were successful and had a big business, so after their death, a percentage of their profits went to Seonghwa. So, the money issue wasn't a problem. He was planning to relax, away from anything and anyone. Though he had himself to fight, but he was going to go through it.

A sudden noise, startled him from his seat. It was like something had fell. He stood up from his seat, and went to check. He hadn't see any windows apart from those two and they weren't even open. There was no wind that could have dropped anything.

He followed the sound, walking to the right of the middle bookcase. He looked down and saw a book on the ground. Strange. He went and picked it up, not exactly caring about how it got there in the first place. He set it back in its place, and went to leave the library.

But another sound stopped him. Something seem to have fallen again. But this time it was heard from the other side of the library. Had he pushed a book, when he set the previous one? Maybe. Why was he so clumsy?

He went to  the other side to pick what was on the floor. A book. Surely he pushed it. He bent down but once he stood up, he saw something at the end of the case. Or rather someone.

He saw a black sillouete of half a man, facing him. It didn't move, didn't do anything, just stood there. Seonghwa's hair stood up. What was happening? Was he hallucinating again? He shook his head, blinking, but the shadow remained. In a blink of an eye, the mysterious shadow had moved, in the direction of other side of the bookcase. Seonghwa didn't waste any time and ran, trying to catch that. But once he was there, the sillouete was gone.

Something wasn't right. That wasn't just a hallucination.
