The others came late at night. They spent a lot more time than they had anticipated, and now returned exhausted to the house.
They walked inside and each went to his room. Mingi went inside the kitchen, wanting to drink something.
As he was pouring himself some juice, he checked the window that had a view of the garden. There he saw Seonghwa sitting on one of the benches.
The poor human was probably cold since the nights tend to be a little chilly. So he grabbed his jacket and made his way to the boy.
He wasn't surprised that Seonghwa was outside. This was where he spent most of his time. As he had said, it calmed him, relaxed him. The demons of course didn't have any objection to that.
He went outside, and slowly approached the boy, so as to not startle him.
"Hey Seonghwa" He said quietly and sat beside the boy.
The human, despite the whispering of the demon, almost dropped from the bench.
"Whoa, easy there" He said chuckling and placed the jacket over Seonghwas shoulders.
The boy snuggled to the warm material, muttering a small thank you.
"How long have you been here? You're actually quite cold"
Seonghwa turned to look at him. Truth is that, he didn't go inside the house. At all. He stayed outside the whole day. He was again lost in his thoughts, he didn't even understood how time passed by.
"Actually, since morning. I didn't go inside the house"
"What?! Hongjoong and the others didn't tell you to come inside?"
Seonghwa shook his head. The demons weren't seen since the morning. The human didn't know how they were or what they did.
"Oh my, I'm gonna kill them. Anyway, let's go inside. You need to warm up and have something to eat"
The giant stood, towering over the human and lifting him in his arms. Seonghwa let out a gasp, not expecting that.
But he soon relaxed on Mingis grip, and cuddled closer to him. He was warm, that's for sure. Seonghwa placed his cheek to Mingis neck, hissing at the temperature difference.
"Ahh you're really are cold. You need a warm bath immediately" The giant said, softly kissing the top of Seonghwas head.
Seonghwa was thankful that Mingi couldn't see him, because he was sure that he was red as a tomato.
Mingi effortlessly opened the door, walking inside the house. He walked upstairs, into Seonghwas room, setting the boy on the bed.
"I'm gonna draw a bath OK? You'll get inside, ill go check on the others, and I'll come back here, is that good?" He asked the boy gently.
The boy smiled and nodded. He extended his arms and wrapped them around Mingis waist, smooshing his face to the demon's stomach.
Mingi chuckled seeing that, his heart beating faster than usual. He didn't know why this happened, but he liked it.
Placing a last kiss on the boy's head, he got away and went to prepare the other's bath. It didn't take him long, and he made sure to be as warm as possible.
He got outside, and let Seonghwa alone in the room. But once he closed the door, his face immediately darkened. He was so pissed at the others. Did they seriously not check up on Seonghwa even once? What were they doing all day?
Sencing where they were, he quickly got there. He tried opening the door to Hongjoongs room but it was closed. Well, he didn't have time to waste, so he broke the handle, letting himself in.
The three demons were sleeping. That was the first thing he saw when he walked inside. His face was a mix of softness and hardness, if that was even possible.
He noticed that they were naked, which could only mean one think. And Mingi was pissed.
With big steps he went and almost shoved the boys off the bed. The one that was closer to him, Wooyoung, was literally torn apart from the two.
Wooyoung immediately woke up, eyes widened, trying to cover himself.
"How did you get in here?" He asked dumbfounded, the others beside him also waking up.
"The question is why haven't you got out of here. Were you seriously inside, sleeping the whole day? And as I can see, you didn't only sleep" The giant said crossing his hands in front of his chest. He really looked like a mum scolding here children. But way worse.
"We lost track of time. We didn't mean to sleep the entire day" Hongjoong said, trying to defend Wooyoung.
But that infuriated Mingi even more.
"And you seriously didn't have the mind to check up on Seonghwa even once? The poor thing was outside the whole day. He was freezing and probably hadn't had something to eat since morning" Mingi said, his voice rising with every word.
The three shared a look and started getting off the bed, sheets around them, trying to find their clothes.
"Don't bother. Seonghwa has better things to do. And I guess you do too"
And with that, he went outside the room. He made sure to give them the most angry look, it wasn't difficult, he was already intimidating.
Sighing after his one sided argument, he went to check on Seonghwa. He found him sitting in the tub, his head resting on the edge. He had his eyes closed, so Mingi couldn't understand if he was sleeping or not.
He went and kneeled in front of the tub, slightly shaking the boy. And by the way he reacted, he was surely sleeping.
Mingi looked at him softly, and stroked gently his cheek.
"Cmon pup, we need to get you out of here. The water is turning cold" He said and helped the human.
Seonghwa hadn't had the energy to move, so he let Mingi help him.
A fluffy robe was wrapped around his boy, and the leaned to the boy's chest to steady himself.
Mingi had his arms wrapped the smaller boy, and made him sit on the bed, while he searched for new pyjamas.
Once he helped Seonghwa wear his clothes, he made him lay on the bed, while he went to the kitchen to make the human something to eat.
He contemplated on what he should make, and went for a simple milk with honey, simply because it was late, and Seonghwas stomach wouldn't be able to eat something.
Making his way upstairs, surprisingly not meeting any of the boys, he shook again Seonghwa lightly and made him drink his milk.
Seonghwa was thankful for that, the warm liquid warming his insides too. He placed the glass in the nightstand, and smiled at the demon.
"Will you sleep with me, please? He asked shyly, looking at him with puppy eyes.
And who was Mingi to say no to these eyes. He simply clicked his fingers, and changed his clothes.
He walked to the other side of the bed, and hugged the smaller. Seonghwa placed his face on Mingis neck, loving the warmth he radiated.
"Good night" He softly said, and cuddled closer to the giant.
"Good night little one" The giant said and placed a gentle kiss to the boy's forehead.
