Seonghwa was getting ready to go outside. It had been a long time and he wanted to be a little by himself.
So after getting dressed, he grabbed his coat, and made his way downstairs.
He left the demons eating breakfast, so he didn't know what they were doing. He found them where he left them, chatting.
"I'm leaving" He said, which gained the attention of the men.
"Take care alright? And have fun. If anything happens, just scream. We'll come" Hongjoong said, and went to hug the male.
Seonghwa wrapped his own hands around the male, enjoying the warm and calming hug. To Seonghwa, Hongjoong was something like a father figure he never got to experience.
The demon was always by his side, making sure that he was safe, he was loving and caring towards him. Seonghwa felt safe with him. He knew that he would trust him. He acted more mature than the rest, and that gave Seonghwa some reassurance. Not that he wasn't feeling like this with the rest, but Hongjoong was a little bit higher on the scale.
And he also saw that behavior of his towards the others. Like, he made sure that they stayed away from trouble, he seemed strict at times but not always, he wanted the best for everyone. And Seonghwa loved that.
Once they separated from the hug, a kiss was placed on Seonghwas forehead, which made him blush a little.
"Take care OK?"
Seonghwa nodded and with a last wave at the rest, he went to wear his shoes, and within seconds, he was out the door.
~~
Seonghwa walked slowly, enjoying the scenery. The fresh air was filling his nostrils, making his body relax. He didn't rush, he had all the time he wanted. He wanted to be alone, take his mind out of things.
He walked and after some time, the ground was becoming more solid and without any soil, he understood that he was nearing the city.
The first houses were visible and people were outside either sitting on chairs or tending their gardens.
Once they saw Seonghwa approaching, they waved at him. Seonghwa politely responded.
Seonghwa for some reason had become quite famous there. The old lady that showed him around the first days, had spoke to every person, informing them about the young boy. People knew that the house he was leaving was dangerous, but seeing that Seonghwa lived there with no problem, and he had managed to stay for the longest time, sparked their curiosity. Some people found it strange and some feared him, thinking that he was some kind of person that worked with magic, or something similar.
Noone knew what was really happening, and they were too afraid to speak to the boy.
Seonghwa kept walking, waving at times at the people, a small smile on his face.
His destination was the small cafe at the center, were he used to drink his tea. He opened the glass door, the small bell at the top signaling that someone had entered.
He walked to the counter to order, taking a cup of tea, of course, and a small cupcake. It's been ages since he last ate something sweet. Maybe he could cook something at home. Even though he had just eaten breakfast, he felt like he wasn't full. He wanted to eat a little bit more. Maybe he was finally getting better.
He paid for his order and went to sit on a table close to the window. There wasn't anyone inside the shop, he seemed to be the only one.
He waited patiently for the food to arrive, while he played with a napkin on the table.
