'I may start developing feelings for you'
That was the last thing Yunho had said to him the previous night. After their ride, and the one sided confession, the boys left and returned back home.
Seonghwa went immediately to his room, refusing to talk to anyone. The kiss and the words Yunho said to him, stayed to his mind. That's what he was thinking for the rest of the night.
Truth is that, Yunho wasn't the first among the sins who had said something like this, and he definitely wasn't the first to kiss him.
But Seonghwa surprisingly didn't find it weird or anything. He didn't care that two of them had kissed him and maybe three had somewhat confessed their feelings for him.
In fact this made him all giddy and warm inside.
But at this point, he started questioning his own self. Like, had his feelings started changing for the demons? Did he liked it when they kissed him? Would he want it to happen again?
He remembered, he didn't want to though, when he first had encountered those types of feelings. His parents had enrolled him into a private school, well his second worst place after his house. And even there, he was expected to be someone he wasn't.
And everything seemed to go even more downhill, than they werr already going. Because for some reason, the students despised him. He didn't know what it was this that made them act like that towards him, but he regret ever stepping foot in that place.
His classmates had taken advantage of him too many times, had managed to destroy him both physically and mentally. The marks and bruises in his body were becoming more and more, he couldn't even support his body.
And that's when he came. Park Jiyoung. To Seonghwa he was like a Knight in shining armour. He was the most handsome man in the school. He wasn't necessarily that popular, he was somewhere in the middle. But he surely had influence among the students. He seemed to form his own group of fangirls and fanboys.
And it all happened when he laid eyes on Seonghwa. Their first encounter was when a group of boys had surrounded Seonghwa, two holding him down while another two were punching and kicking him. Just as he thought that he was going to pass out, the grips in his arms disappeared and before he could fall to the ground someone held him.
That person took him to the nurse, and the doctor treated his wounds, much to her annoyance. Once Seonghwa had recovered, he saw the boy sitting beside him, waiting for him.
And from then on, they started talking, and this talking formed a relationship. As it seemed Jiyoung was too bored to develop a friendship first, he just went straight to a relationship.
But Seonghwa was too innocent and too naive to understand his motives.
In school it seemed like they were doing just fine. Seonghwa thought that Jiyoung was the one for him. He was sweet with him, always there for him. It was the first signs of affection and Seonghwa took advantage to every last bit of it. It was almost as if he was dependent on him.
And Jiyoung seemed to take advantage of Seonghwas innocent. So, he called Seonghwa over to his house one night. For obvious reasons. But Seonghwa didn't know that. And for some reason he trusted the boy. Even when he took what he treasured the most, and rather forcefully, Seonghwa didn't complain.
Because he was sure that one wrong move, and the affection he was given would disappear. So he could endure a little more pain.
And that didn't stop. In fact it became worse. Those calls to his house became even more frequent. And from his house, this started happening in school, in alleys, in random bars and shops. But Seonghwa didn't have the heart to stop it. He didn't even understand it was wrong at the time. He just thought that this was his way of showing his love.
Until one day. Him and Jiyoung were outside walking. At some point they passed by an alley and they went inside. Seonghwa didn't know how this happened, out of nowhere, four other boys appeared. Jiyoungs friends, he could tell.
And that was the first night that he begged them to stop. That was the first night that he understood that this isn't it. This shouldn't be happening, this isn't the right way. By they only seemed to laugh at him, while he was struggling to stop crying.
That was the first and last time Seonghwa had been in a relationship. It was too late to understand that what was happening was wrong, but then again, who told him what was right and what was wrong?
Jiyoung was the first boy to make him feel things that he didn't know he was capable of doing so. With Jiyoung his heart beated faster for the first time, smile was appearing to his lips. But it all came crashing down.
And Seonghwa cursed himself for doing that. And he swore to never trust someone again.
But, this wasn't the case here. The demons were different, he could feel it. They constantly kept reassuring him, they were always there for him, they had helped him get through with himself.
And besides, he couldn't deny the change in his feelings for them.
And Seonghwa thought that, maybe he could make an exception for the demons. They really didn't seem that bad.
