Once he finished with his tea, he went to the back door that led to the garden. Now it would be a good time to explore it. It wasn't like he had anything better to do.
He unlocked it, and went outside. And he stood amazed at what he saw. In the middle stood a big fountain but it didn't have any water. Forming a circle around it, were trees, and lots of them. There were trees right next to him, forming a path for him to walk straight at it. And so he followed it. He went and stood right in front of the fountain and looked around him. There were some benches in front of the trees, allowing him to sit. And right behind the trees there were was a garden with whatever flowers you could think of.
He moved close the garden to take a closer look at the flowers, taking a sip from his hot drink. A strong fragrance was emitted from the flowers so much that Seonghwa had to close his eyes and take a deep breath. All this was too perfect. His fingertips left feathery touches on the petals, feeling the. And as he walking in the path in the middle of the flowers, he saw that it stopped at some time.
And after that, there was just grass, and a long land unoccupied. And Seonghwa of course went to check. It wasn't like he was afraid of anything. And after some walking, he found himself standing at the edge of a cliff. He saw underneath him and saw nothing but trees and rocks.
The night wind was blowing softly making his hair move, and his body to shiver. He looked straight down at the cliff and all kinds of thoughts came to his mind. But mostly important was one of them. 'jump'. The voices in his head screamed for him to just take a step forward and let all his problems end.
But he wasn't gonna let them win him. Not now, that everything was turning for the better. So he lifted his face, a proud smile on his face.
He took steps backwards, and made his way back into the house. The temperature difference was huge. Once inside the house, a warm feeling engulfed his body. He set the mug of tea on the counter amd looked outside. The window had a view of the garden.
But once he did he saw something beside the trees. A dark figure or rather figures were there. He was sure that there wasn't anyone outside. He tried counting them and saw that there three shadows outside. OK seriously what was this? He squinted his eyes, trying to have a better view but wished his didn't. It seemed that the figures had their back facing him, and soon enough they turned around, what seemed like eyes, glowing red.
Seonghwa let out a gasp and moved backwards hitting his back on the counter. His heart picked its pace, unable to form a right thought. He moved slowly at the window again, but he saw no one. OK was he dreaming? Was he hallucinating?
He went to his room to check on some of the pills that he had brought with him. There must be a logical explanation for this. He went and found his pills, reading at the paper inside.
Loss of sleep. Headaches. Nosebleeds. Hallucinations.
Here it was. So his pills were responsible for that. He let out a sigh. At least he wasn't going crazy.
