San had woken up after a restless night. After they had returned, he had trouble going to sleep. The only thing that occupied his mind was Wooyoung.

They still hadn't talked since the day Wooyoung came, and San wanted to.

The only reason he had acted like this towards Wooyoung, which he deeply regretted, was because he was afraid. Wooyoung had told him that he liked him, though it seemed that he hadn't planned on telling him, it just left his mouth.

But the truth is that San was feeling the exact same way. And not only for Wooyoung. And needed to talk to the demon.

So, without wasting time he got ready, and went downstairs. If Wooyoung wasn't there he was going to find him in his room.

He walked outside the kitchen and heard voices from inside, so he stayed still to listen. He quickly understood that it was Hongjoong with Wooyoung.

"Wooyoung, you will talk"

"I dont feel like it"

"We already talked about this. You need to get things straight with San. You need to tell him what he did. And maybe even..."

"I dont want to Hongjoong. You should've just left me there"

San was hearing the conversation confused. Maybe they were talking about him and how he treated Wooyoung. But San wanted to talk with the boy, he wanted to apologise.

He peeked his head inside, earning the attention of the two boys.

"Good morning"

Morning San. How did you sleep?" Hongjoong asked sweetly.

But he didn't pay much attention to him, he was eyeing the black haired demon, who seemed to not acknowledge his presence.

" I didn't actually. I had a lot in mind. So, can I borrow Wooyoung for a second?"

San could see how Wooyoung's jaw clenched at the mention of his name. But he didn't move.

"Yeah, you sure can. Wooyoung has something to tell you too" Hongjoong said and nudged the boy with his shoulder.

Wooyoung gave him the angriest look he could master and lifted abruptly from his seat. Only then he lifted his gaze to look at San, who gave him a sweet smile.

But Wooyoung scoffed and passed right beside him, going outside the back door to the garden.

San followed close behind and closed the door behind him, searching for Wooyoung.

He found him walking through the flowers, touching them lightly. Wooyoung picked up a rose, ignoring the thorns that got to his delicate skin.

San approached him, stood beside him.

"You know, people tend to love roses. But it seems that they forget that they have thorns too. Something so beautiful, so seemingly harmless. They forget that they are deadly too. And one wrong move, is enough to hurt them"

"Does that apply to you or me?"

Wooyoung smiled.

"To both of us. We both got hurt"

"Then let me fix it. Wooyoung.." San said and got ahold of his hand.

"I know that what I did was uncalled for. And I wanted to apologise for my behaviour"

"It's alright San. I was an idiot for even thinking about what I said. You weren't obligated to return the feelings. It was just me and my stupid self"

"Wooyoung, you know that's not it. What you did was normal, I was the stupid one to react like that"

Wooyoung turned to face him. A single tear fell from his eye, and made no attempt to wipe it away.

"Everything is settled San. I just have to accept it now. I got both of us hurt"

San could only watch in disbelief at what Wooyoung said. He didn't know that with what he did, had hurt the other like that.

He hated himself for treating Wooyoung like this. He didn't deserve it. But San was ready to make it up.

He got and wrapped his arms around Wooyoung, bringing his face to his neck. Wooyoung was small compared to him, so he easily closed him in his arms.

"And I keep ruining everything. Because I can't shake those feelings for you away. And it's not only this. I am actually starting to feel differently for the rest of us. Just, what is wrong with me?" The demon said, and couldn't contain himself. Tears ran down his cheeks non stop, overwhelming with thoughts and emotions.

San broke seeing him like that. And brought him even closer. Wooyoung said that he still had feelings for him, so he could still make his move. And what he said about the rest, really grabbed his attention but he was familiar with it.

"Nothing is wrong with you Woo, don't ever say that. You're the most caring and sweet demon that I know. And your feelings are totally natural"

"San we are demons. How is loving someone normal for us? We weren't supposed to feel any emotions"
Wooyoung said exasperated, bringing his face to look at San.

San understood why Wooyoung was saying that. And in a way he was right. But they weren't forbidden to have emotions. Or so he thought.

He brought his hands and gently cupped the boy's face, wiping his tears with his thumps.

"Woo, I don't care if we can or can't feel emotions. But, what I'm feeling for you cannot be ignored. And yes, I like you Wooyoung. Or I may feel more about you"

Wooyoung looked at him with widened eyes. He shocked expression brought a slight smile to San's face.

You like me too?" He asked in disbelief.

San nodded and bent his head. His lips touched Wooyoung's in a slow kiss. It was their first kiss of that kind. Their lips molded perfectly against each other, showing every emotion they felt at this moment.

Wooyoung responded immediately, kissing back with as much passion. He missed him. It may have been only two days but he missed him.

They pulled apart after they understood they needed oxygen.

They both looked deeply into each other's eyes, taking in each other's features.

"Wooyoung will you forgive me?'

" You're already forgiven you idiot"

"And will you, maybe want to be with me? Like, in a relationship?"

Wooyoung smiled widely, literally jumping at San.

"Of course San. I wouldn't dare say no"
