Seonghwa hearing a voice behind him, quickly turned his head. Had he really heard a voice?
His blood ran cold when he saw noone behind him. What? He would swear that he heard a male's voice.
"h hello?" he asked the air, his heart beating in his ears. His voice was cracking, seemingly afraid. Was he slowly losing his mind.
"who's there?" he asked again, this time more stable and confident. Someone was in his house. Tell him paranoid, but he could sence someone in the room.
There was no reply, of course. So he went to investigate. The knife in his hands was help tighter, ready to attack whoever was inside his house.
He slowly exited the kitchen, and looked carefully right and left, before proceeding to the corridor.
The house was lit, so there wasn't any problem with seeing around. Or being in the dark.
He walked up the giant staircase, and went to check on each and every room. But there was a problem.
He heard voices again. And they seem to come from one of the bedrooms. Seonghwa's blood ran cold, afraid of what he might encounter. Where there more than one people? How was he gonna defeat them?
He walked even slower, making little to no noise, not wanting to get himself caught. He listened carefully, and went and stood right in front of the door he heard the voices.
He was able to hear people talking, but not understand what they were saying. He could catch some random words like caught, hidden, maybe invisible?
He took deep breaths, calming his beating heart. Was he really going to do this? Yes he was.
He grabbed the door handle, and quickly twisted it, opening the door, leaving in the process a loud scream.
He immediately heard screams, covering his own. And the sight made him almost faint.
In front of him stood not only one, not only two, but seven grown man. They were staring at him intensely but mostly the knife he was holding.
Seonghwa looked each and every single one of them, tried really hard not to pass out.
"hello?" one of the men said and did a little wave at Seonghwa.
Right there, he felt his body going weak, and eyes closing, leading him to darkness.

"Great job San" Hongjoong was the one to spoke first.
"Why is this my fault?"
"Couldn't you just keep quiet?"
"I couldn't. He was gonna hurt himself"
"Again?" Another voice said. Yunho walked and squatted down to Seonghwa's level, who was still on the floor. He lifted the boy in his hands, sighing at how light he felt.
He went and placed him on the bed, the rest of the boys gathering around him.
"He hasn't been eating?" Yeosang asked, knowing the answer but doing it anyway. He had seen how the fragile boy struggled to eat.
"He had a panic attack right now. Because of it"
Wooyoung went and placed a gentle kiss on the boys forehead.
"He is different" He said whispering, as if he didn't want to be heard.
Mingi and Jongho were just standing there, watching the small boy with sad eyes.
"Why are we feeling like this towards the boy? I cannot understand" Jongho spoke after some time.
"We don't know. It just.. Happened I guess" The taller said.
The seven demons agreed at this statement. They didn't know why they felt so, protective over that human boy. They had encountered hundreds of people, but this little one...
They didn't know how to explain it. And it hadn't been such a long time. Maybe a week or so. They felt empathy for him. They all had seen how much he struggled, they understood that this boy had a long and pained story to tell.
Were they able to feel like this, though? They, the seven mighty deadly sins. The most powerful demons that could destroy each and every man. They, who no one could beat them, people were terrified by them. Why were they had suddenly become so soft for a simple human?
"Are we pitying him?" Jongho asked, getting the attention of every one.
"What do you mean?"
"I mean that, would we still feel like that if he was a regural, healthy person? Or are we like that because we pity him?"
Silence engulfed the room. Jongho asked something that everyone was thinking. Truth is they didn't know themselves. Maybe they could think about it later.
Their attention went back to the boy, when he began stirring in is sleep.
