John lead the way, signaling to turn when needed. "Is this our last stop before we leave, we're gonna get noticed," said Alisha. John nodded, "Not too much more Ali," he said. John heard movement, and before he could signal Ethan to move to the front, two Icers turned the corner. Both guards had a surprised expression on their faces, and for that brief moment, they were stunned.

John wasted no movements, punching both in the face at once, before tackling the left guard. Ethan ran for the guard on the right. The guard was able to turn and bolt down the way they came, Ethan high tailing it after him. He couldn't let him alert the facility that they were there. Alisha went to help John, be he stopped her. "Go help Ethan, I got this," he struggled to say. Alisha nodded and ran after Ethan. The guard got John in a hold, and started punching him in the side. John lunged forward, slamming him into the wall.

The force of the slam loosened the Icer's grip, John slammed him again. The Icer completely let go, John delivered a swift a punch to the face and a knee to the stomach. John went for another shot, but the guard ducked and grabbed John's neck, slamming him to the floor. Then he punched John repeatedly in the face. John connected a few of his own blows, but with this guard pinning him, he couldn't do much. The guard formed an icicle in his hand, and slammed down.

John blocked the hit with his forearms, trying to keep the icicle from his face. The guard had strength, and John struggled to keep him from impaling his eye. "John, there's a lot of activity out here, where are you," said Abraham. John grunted as he pushed back harder, the guard gritted his teeth. John's forearms suddenly ignited with crimson red flames. The guard snatched his arm away, dropping the icicle. His arm was burned severely.

John stood up, eyes glowing brightly. The man winced and groaned loudly. Then John noticed his arm start to mist around the burn. Then the burn on his arm vanished. "They can heal?!," John thought. The guard gritted his teeth and lunged at John. John blasted the guard down the hall, and through the lab doors. He ran into the lab, a few doctors shrieked and ran out. "John!!," yelled Abraham.

"I'm fine Abraham, just got a little tied up," said John.

"Thank goodness!! We'll I don't know what you guys did, but the guards are talking like crazy out here," said Abraham.

"We're on our way out," said John. He knew more guards would be on their way here. He shot the three devices into the ceiling, then he ran out, he contacted Alisha. "John," she said, she sounded like she was still running. "Where are you guys?," asked John. "Towards the back of the facility, I'm barely keeping up here," she said. "Hold on, I'm coming," said John. He ran down the hall the Icers came from, moving as fast as he could. John heard more footsteps coming, he had to hurry before they were caught.

Ethan tailed the guard, moving as fast as he could. He had shot a few fireballs at him, but the guard was either too fast, or blocked them. Alisha was running behind them, she was trying to see where she could throw her own attack to stop the guard, but Ethan was in the way. Ethan looked down the hallway they were running down and noticed a vending machine next to a window. "Gotcha," Ethan yelled. The Icer looked behind him, as Ethan ignited a fireball.

"What are you doing?!," yelled Alisha as Ethan threw his blast. The Icer ducked, as the blast flew over his head. He turned and laughed, but when he saw Ethan grin, he looked forward in horror. The blast hit the vending machine, exploding it on impact. The blast of shards and fire caused the guard to stop and shield himself. Ethan, with a loud cry, tackled the guard from the back. They both crashed through the window. "ETHAN!!," screamed Alisha.

The two tumbled down two floors. Ethan was above the Icer guard as they fell. The guard tried to make an ice ramp of sorts to break the fall, but he couldn't make it fast enough. They both crashed through the ice and snow, slamming on to the dumpster and rolling on to the alley floor. Both were still. Alisha looked out in horror.

"ETHAN," she cried. Ethan was dazed, but started to move. Alisha breathed a sigh of relief, then she turned and ran back the way they came. Ethan groaned as he slowly started to move, he hadn't realized they had actually gone upstairs. He was so busy keeping watch for guards. Ethan shook his head, and started to push himself up, when he was suddenly grabbed from the back.

The Icer guard angrily threw Ethan backwards. Ethan landed with a grunt. "You little brat!!," he yelled. He picked Ethan up again and punched him, then repeated the action. He picked Ethan up a third time, but Ethan head butted him in the face. He let Ethan go and stumbled back. Ethan fell to the ground, still shaken from the fall. He noticed that an icy mist was coming off of the guard's body, and he noticed that the cuts from the ice they crashed into were gone. "You can heal!!," said Ethan.

The guard ran and grabbed Ethan and threw him again. Ethan rolled to a stop, then started getting up. "You're gonna regret breaking in here kid," he said. Ethan got to his feet, when the guard shot a blast of ice, slamming Ethan. He flew into a gasoline truck, parked behind the building. Ethan coughed, the fall damaged him more than he had thought, all he could do was take the beating. The guard walked up, and grabbed Ethan by his collar. His hand started to release the icy mist as he lifted his hand over his head.

His eyes burned with an angry purple fury. Ethan knew he was in trouble, it would take a miracle to get him out of this. Suddenly, the sound of a gun being cocked was heard. The Icer guard turned and looked over his shoulder. Ethan's eyes widened, It was Trevor holding the gun. "Hands off snowman," he said. Ethan couldn't believe it, how was he here? The Icer glared, "Walk away boy, this doesn't concern you," he said before turning back to Ethan. Trevor shot a warning shot past his head.

The bullet hit the truck, and gas started to leak from the bullet hole. "Trevor watch it, this thing could blow," said Ethan. Before Trevor could respond, Marcus appeared, running around the corner, a ball of fire in his hand. "That's the idea," he said. Ethan and the Icer guard watched in utter horror and shock, as Marcus threw the blast of fire. It only took a few seconds for the gas to ignite. Then there was a deafening boom, as fire enveloped Ethan and the Icer guard. Marcus ran and tackled Trevor as the explosion rushed over them. The ground shook, as the pillar of fire and smoke shot into the air. Soon, the smoke cleared, Ethan stood in the smoke.

His shirt was completely burned off, and his pants were chard. Fire was burning all over his body. He was breathing hard. Marcus and Trevor stood up. Marcus ran to hm. "It worked," he said. "You're insane you know that," said Ethan, absorbing the fire into his hands. "Come on you two, we gotta go," said Trevor. The three ran out into the parking lot, where Zeke pulled up. "Get in," he said, angrily.
