Renata, Kyle's beautiful twin sister and Kayla had always been best of friends since they were kids. So she was more than happy to play maid of honour for her beloved brother's wedding. She'd met with Kayla's handsome cousin, a few times before even though, they'd not been properly introduced. After his return from closing a deal abroad, and she happened to find out, due to her...excessive walking over, as she preferred to call it, she asked Kayla to introduce her to him. Granting Renata's wishes, she set up an hangout with the three of them, and of course Kyle, for later that evening in her apartment.

"So, Lance, right, I'm into law school now. And my parents won't shut up about me taking my life seriously and trying to turn me into Kyle 2". Lance chuckled at her statement as he chunked down his drink, glancing over at her while he she leaned on, not close enough, but close to get his attention.
"Did they suceed"

"I think my state has answered the question". She said proudly smiling and she glanced over at Kyle and Kayla who were in the kitchen doing love play while Kayla made efforts to make dinner. Lance noticed the way Renata looked at her twin and Kayla. She seemed so into them, like she wanted to be them.

"Sucker for love??" He continued gulping down his drink.

"Uh?" She came back to his reality and he smirked at her. "Oh. No, not re..."

"I guess we all are"

"You are??" She asked, unable to coat the hint of surprise in her voice. "Who's the lucky lady?"
"What?"

"I mean is there a..."

"No." Cut short a little too fast, Renata receded to keeping to herself. She hated being undervalued the most, and she would not stand for it. Noticing her annoyed look, he raised his head up and sighed.

"I'm in love...but, it can't be". She raised her head to look at him, a bit surprised, but more satisfied.

"Well, I'm sorry for the forbidden lady. But I'm absolutely very free and not forbidden at all," he smiled at her. "In case your friends are interested. I'm bored. And I'd want someone that'd keep me company." She said, trying to pull off the cool look. He smirked and leaned closer to her, close enough for them to be touching.

"You sure?? Cos most of my friends are occupied. But if it's company you want, there's a lot to offer" she smiled at him as he raised his drink to her.

Kayla finally brought what looked like dinner covered in tyre old cooking and Renata and Lance busted into laughter,  while Kayla glared at Kyle who was trying his best to hide his smile.

"Don't you dare." Kyle bursted into laughter. "Don't you dare laugh. This is all your fault. Next time I'm in the kitchen, I'm keeping you off on a mile radius. In short words, don't come near me!" She scoffed heading back to the kitchen when Kyle fell on the chair laughing. Renata and Lance analyzed the food once more and started another round of laughter as Kayla slammed the kitchen door.

Excitement flew in the air, as the day of the wedding was fast approaching. Kayla was preoccupied with wedding preparations and decided to see Kyle for some extra preparations Renata made her partake in. The company was quite different from how she'd remembered it months ago. She guessed progress meant upgrade in the company's system. As she approached Kyle's office, curtsey of his secretary who spared no effort in making Kayla's way through the company has easy as possible, Alicia came out of the elevator and saw her. At first, she decided to go back in and close it which Kayla found weird, but eventually as Kayla approached the elevator, Alicia came to meet her, emotional and teary.

"Are you ok Alicia?"

She soaked in few sobs before clearing her voice. "I'm so sorry Kayla". Kayla stared at her confusion written all over her face while Alicia took a while to notice truly how beautiful Kayla was and how she felt like a scam compared to her. She was broken out of her thoughts of her royal goddess by Kayla's question.  "Why?.."
