I am on the YouVersion app, reading a bible through the year plan, and I hit a verse in revelation that stuck out:
Revelation 1:8
"I am the Alpha and the Omega—the beginning and the end", says the Lord God. "I am the one who is, who always was, and who is still to come—the Almighty one."
Why did it stick out? Because God IS, he ALWAYS was, and is still YET to come. God is eternity, in both directions.
Satan however, he was because God initially made him, he still exists now but he has already been defeated when Jesus took up the cross, and he is NOT yet to come as the Lord is.
We all go through different seasons in life, sometimes we get so busy that we don't have time to truly rest, we can become worn down and easily agitated, more susceptible to negativity and attacks from the enemy. Satan will certainly try to distract and attack you during these times.
Be vigilant, ensure that you take a few minutes to rest and reflect in the awesomeness that is God every day. Reflect on the blessings He has given us, draw strength from His presence and peace. Know that God has a plan for you, try to find lessons and joy in the journey. Don't give foothold to the devil.
