The best action movies all have similar plot lines... stuff gets real bad, the hero is /missing/dead, the bad guys are taking over, &everyone loses all hope.
Then, usually, In the 11th hour, when it all seems to be over, the hero somehow comes back or a new, unlikely hero steps up, and the day is saved.Sound familiar? This can be literally any movie in the Marvel or DC lineup.
And take note that, the worse the bad guys were, the more damage they did, we always say the heroes victory is just so much better and more awe inspiring. The best movies have the worst bad guys. Our favorite heroes are the ones who have suffered the most loss and faced the most adversity.
These stories are reflected in our spiritual life believe it or not. Satan makes things seem bad, there are some losses, but in the end God always sees us through and it ends up pretty great. (Spoiler alert, you're going to Heaven if you believe, repent and accept Jesus.) Even when you lose all hope, there's still a little save the day hero in everyone, it will come out when you most need it. God will equip you with what you need.
Hebrews 30:20-21
Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.1 Corinthians 1:26-29
"Brothers, think of what you were when you were called. Not many of you were wise by human standards; not many were influential; not many were of noble birth. But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. He chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things — and the things that are not — to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before Him."See where I'm going with that? It gonna get bad sometimes. And even if you feel like you can't do it, God will make you able! Remember Moses and his stutter? Paul was nearly blind.
But when God's glory can burst forth and really shine, especially through those of us called and then equipped after, it shows non believers that He is indeed real, powerful, and good.Sometimes it's a trial of one day, sometimes it takes literal generations. But the victory will be there if you answer the call, let God equip you, and let God work through you.

I'm noticing that I'm really on a writing kick about trials lately. I've got three more of these lined up in my notes ready to edit and be put on here 😂
Life can be hard on us though. We can never stop and look up to God enough!
