The Search

Two years have passed, Mikey sat in the living room staring at the ceiling in silence... he heard a soft purring when he glanced down he saw a fluffy black and white cat.

"Awww! It is a fluffy kitty cat!" Mikey said in joy as he held the cat and pet it.

"Hm Splinter would never let us have a cat because he was a rat so I am going to keep you," Mikey smiled.

"Hey if you keep it then you gotta feed it! And if it poops or pees in my room your dead!" Ralph yelled as he threw a coke can at Mikey.

"Ralph cut it out a pet will be good for Mikey," Leo said as he leaned on the rail.

"Oh yeah because your life is perfect with Venus and the babies on the way," Ralph said sarcastically.

"Let us not talk about this now... we both know Amoly and Talena are still missing," Leo crossed his arms.

Mikey looked like he was about to break down into tears.

"Great look what you have done," Ralph said as he shoved passed Leo.

"I did not mean to-- ugh..." Leo said with a sigh as he went down to Mikey and sat next to him.

"Hey, are you good?" Leo asked.

"I am fine I just miss her Leo..." Mikey said with a pouting face.

"I know but hey if they are not back in three weeks we will all go out and find them... together," Leo said as he put his hand on Mikey's shoulder.

"Heh okay, thanks, bro. Oh, how are Venus and the twins?" Mikey asked with hope in his eyes.

"Ughhhh," Leo said as he fell back onto the couch.

Mikey burst out with a laugh, Ralph still standing on the balcony looking down at them with a smile.

Larota walked up to Ralph and put her arms around him, "at least Mikey is taking it better than Donnie."

"Mikey has always been good with his emotions besides the clue you found that the girls are still alive is what keeps him going," Ralph said as he watched his brothers.

"What if we do not find them, Ralph? What if they are gone... forever?" Larota asked worriedly.

"Hey we will find them... and if we do not then all we can do is be there for you, Venus, Donnie... and little Mikey..." Ralph said his voice getting deeper towards the end.

"Your voice gets deep when you are worried or upset..." Larota said in concern.

"It is just you mentioned Mikey almost jumped... I fear if we find... bodies... I do not know what he will do... he seems so happy and cheerful on the outside but inside... no one knows how he feels..." Ralph said as he looked at her worried.

"Mikey is a hard boy to read but I am sure if he keeps it bottled up for too long he will soon open up to someone to relieve the weight," Larota said as she looked at the boys.

"Besides when the twins are born Mikey will have his hands full since Leo and Venus will be exhausted and I refuse to take care of crying stinky babies?" Larota said with a laugh.

"Until we have kids of our own but yeah the kids will hopefully take Amoly off of Mikey's mind," Ralph said as he looked at Mikey who was forcing a smile.

Of somewhere far and distant deep in the woods out in a field of flowers was Amoly and Talena, their wrists and ankles chained.

"Give it up Amoly... they will never come," Talena said in defeat.

"No, they will I just know they will!" Amoly said as she fought her chains.

"Amoly! It has been two years they are not coming!" Talena screamed tears slipping down her cheeks.

"You are wrong!" Amoly screamed as she fought the chains more.

A man walked up to them, "well well well have we gone crazy yet?" the man asked with a sinister laugh.

"Burn in hel--" Amoly said before being cut off by the man pulling out a blade.

Back with the gang in New York, three weeks passed and the boys were packing their bags to go save Talena and Amoly. The cat jumped onto Mikey's shoulders.

Mikey laughed, "fluffy you can not come I am sorry but Larota will take good care of you while I am gone."

"As long as I do not have to change diapers we are okay," Larota said with a smile.

"Do be careful boys and bring Amoly and Talena back safe and sound," Venus said with a soft smile.

"We will!" Leo said as he waved goodbye to his girlfriend and her sister.

The others waved goodbye as they climbed into the submarine and cruised off to Amoly and Talena's last location.

As the submarine rose to shore the turtles looked in awe.

"It is so beautiful!" Mikey said as he looked out the windows.

"Woah my turtle tracker signal found them!" Donnie said as hope-filled his eyes for the first time in the past two years.

Mikey asked quickly, "how far are we?!"

"Two days trip from here to them," Donnie simply answered.

"Well we best get a move before it ends up being a three-day walk," Leo said as he hid the submarine.

Talena looked at Amoly who was covered in wounds.

"You just never know when to shut up do you?" Talena asked in a sarcastic tone.

Amoly glared at Talena as she felt pain surge from her cuts and gashes.

"Ah they have arrived onshore but I highly doubt they will make it before our precious little Amoly dies," the man laughed with his sinister laugh as he looked through the telescope at the turtles.

"Such a shame poor little Mikey will get his heart crushed when he sees your lifeless body," the man laughed more.

"Mikey no..." Amoly whispered as she had flashbacks to when Mikey was injured.

"I will always be here for you," Amoly said as she put her hand on Mikey's hand in the flashback.

"I felt horrible then... I do not want him to go through that... I have to fight to live...." Amoly said as she whimpered in pain.
