Chapter 4

*Leslie's P.O.V.*

I honestly don't know what I'm doing standing outside Jakes apartment. Yes, I like him, okay fine I love him. I have had a super huge crush on him since the first day of school last year. The only problem now is that Jake likes Hazel and I'm pretty damn sure she likes him. I think I'm just gonna tell Jake how I feel so I can get it off my chest, I'm not expecting anything to happen but I just need him to know.

I knocked on the door and waited a couple minutes for him to open the door.

This is ridiculous! What am I doing?

I started to walked down the stairs when I heard his door latch open.

"Leslie?" Jake said with a mysterious look.

"Yeah it's me....um can we talk ?" I said.

"Um sure. Come inside." Jake said still looking like he had no idea what was going on.

"No, no I'd rather do this out here." I said frowning.

"Oh.okay...." Jakes said.

"Look Jake I...I like you...a lot." I said smiling. " I have always liked you. Actually, I think I love you." I said stepping closer to him.

"Leslie, I'm sorry but I like Hazel." He frowned.

I stepped closer, close enough to kiss him our lips were about a inch apart.

*Hazel's P.O.V.*

I'm guess I'm going to go on a date with Jake now. Part of me wanted to like Jake, but part of me won't let go of Gus. I honestly don't know what I want.

I put on a red button up tank top with a leather jacket over top. Then wiggled into black skinny jeans. Once again I curled my hair, did my makeup, and did one last check in the mirror.

I opened the door and turned the corner to go to Jakes apartment. To my surprise I saw Leslie, getting very close to Jake I might add.

O H M Y G O D

That bitch! She just kissed Jake! Still kissing Jake! Ugh let go of him!

"Still like Hazel now?" Leslie muttered to Jake.

Jake shook his head and pushed her away.

Nows my chance.

"You backstabbing bitch!" I screamed at Leslie.

Jake and Leslie both looked up at me like a deer in the headlights.

"Hazel, I'm so sorry honestly I didn't come here to kiss him I just wanted to tell him how I felt." Leslie tried to say before I cut her off.

"Really?! Don't pull that shit with me. That was not talking! Oh wait I do recall you saying 'still like Hazel now?' Explain that Leslie!" I ran off and slammed the door to my apartment sitting on the couch and thinking about the past few minutes.

Why am I so upset? I mean we weren't dating anyway? I don't even like him....

Yes you obviously do. Don't lie to yourself Hazel.

Yup. I was right, I was lying to myself because I did like him.

My thoughts were interrupted when I heard a knock on my door.

I was contemplating actually answering but my curiosity got the best of me and I eventually got up and opened the door.

It was Jake.

"Hazel." He started to say before I shut the door but he put his arm in front of the door and opened back up.

"I don't want to hear it Jake, I get it, you like Leslie, not me. I was a fool for thinking you did and it's all my fault." I said with tears starting to fill my eyes.

"No Hazel, you don't understand. She kissed me, she said she loves me. I said I love you." Jake said with a stern look.

Wait, did I just hear him correctly?
