Chapter 3 BOOKS

"Rome, who is Vien?" he stopped eating rice because of my question. Do I know who the hell  Vien is? Does he dated Rome secretly?

"Euhla, I'm just staying here for 3 months. You don't need to know my life."

"I'm sorry. The handkerchief . . . there was a written name, Rome and Vien." I handed the handkerchief tied to my hand.

"Why did you removed it?" he put the handkerchief back in my hand and his face was almost too close to mine.

I stared into his eyes but soon my heart suddenly feel hurt as if there was something. I can't explain. It really hurts like thee first  time.

"Are you okay? Sorry, does it hurt?" he held my hand while I held my left chest. Omg, I can't breathe.

"Vivien?"

It was as if another voice was calling  me which caused me to touch my chest even more. It's not really the first time. But it's weird.

"Euhla!! Wake up!" I heard him shouted before I lost my conscience.

I woke up lying in bed because of ray of the sunlight. Why does it seem so comfortable? Did something happen? I went out of the room and saw Rome cooking on the kitchen. I thought we fought.

"Rome!!" I called him. He looked at me with a smile and ordered me to go down into the living room.

"Hazel passed by earlier but you didn't catch her up. She brought food. She said it was yours." he said still busy cooking.

"Wait, did something happen or something? Like, uhmm?" I asked.

"What? The bathrobe I didn't give you earlier?" he pursed his lips and I sat down on the sofa.

"Weird." I whispered. 

I sat down on the chair and ate what Hazel gave me. Rome might not give me the food he's cooking. He just wanted to send me away from Jessica's house from the start.

"I'll  teach you this afternoon."

"Ahh of course, By the way, how good are you on English? I'm a fast learner. Well, except reading comprehension."

"Maybe 9/10?" he said confidently. The arrogance!

"What else do you know?" he stopped what he was doing because of my question. What is that? His face again? The killer smile.

"Cooking, Painting, Acting, Singing, Dancing, I can do anything?"

"The wind! The electric fan is so strong." I was surprised when he suddenly smiled because of what I said. HUH? Because I stared at his smile I dropped my spoon, I don't know why my hand is shaking. There is no wound or anything.

"Was there a problem? He asked and he walked towards me.

"Nothing. I'm fine." I said and resumed eating. I got up from my chair after I finished the food that Hazel gave me. Shocks, I'm so weird now.

Rome is currently sitting in the living room looking at the magazine that Jessica has accumulated under the table. Maybe he taught that I am  number 1 fan? Hell no!

"So many magazines? Why am I always the front cover?"?"He smiled slightly. I sat on the sofa in front of him.

Wait, is there a rule? Why does it seem so impossible to follow?

"Jessica is a big fan of yours. I wonder if she is the one who is here. Most likely. . ."

"What??"

"I guess something already happened to the both of you." the two of us laughed as he continued opening the magazines. Can Rome signed a lot of merchandise in Jessica's room? Omg? Will she would be happy when I let Rome to sign it all?

"Rome?" he looked at me and stopped opening the magazine. Shocks? You can continue what you are doing, why do you always pause and stared at me?

"Aren't you going to do anything?" he thought for a moment and then he shook his head.

"Can I have a favor?" his forehead suddenly wrinkled because of what I said.

"Huh? What's the favor?"

"Can you sign my best friend's merchandise that contains all of your pictures?" he suddenly frowned at what I said. Why does he seem unwilling? Since, he's Handsome and Famous?

"Sure?" he stood on the sofa and I took the marker from the drawer on the side of the table.

OMG! JESSICA, just THANK ME AFTER 3 MONTHS. 

Rome and I went to Jessica room together! I knew it. Hell! I did not know that Jess did not remove Rome's poster that was pasted on her wall. He has a picture of Rome as a brief model. Gosh! Why I take Rome with me before looking at it?

"She's really a fan of mine?" I just smiled and gave him the marker.

"Where should I start?" I showed him one-by-one poster on the wall. While Rome was signing posters I picked up the albums under Jessica's bed. Wow did she complete that?

"Will I also sign the one I'm on my brief?" I suddenly stood up because of what he said.

"Yes you may?" He continued what he was doing and so did I. It is very organized from 1st Album to the last. I took out all the albums and put them on the table by followed by the posters.

"Rome, can I hear your cover of Bakit ba ikaw?" I showed the CD and he nodded. I opened Jessica's DVD player while Rome was still busy signing the posters. He also signed the postcard. I put on the CD and started playing music. Rome stopped what he was doing and looked at me.

Rome's voice is beautiful, isn't it? That's why Jessica was so crazy in loved at him. The music just kept going and I was still busy getting Jessica's merchandise. But wait—

"Omg! Is there another one? The bottle he took at your concert." I took a chair and reached for the plastic bottle at the top of the cabinet.

I would have taken the plastic bottle but suddenly the books from above were out of place, causing it to fall.

"Euhla!" I heard him shouted.

Ayaw ng paawat ang aking damdamin

Sanay hayaan mong ibigin kita
Maghihintay pa rin at aasa.

Why the book didn't hit me?!
