Playing With Fire
Izzy SteallarhartStitches was inside my mind, I felt her, moving things around and warping them for what felt like hours. It didn't feel like she was changing things however, just viewing them for her pleasure. She must've liked seeing madness inside of people, She brought me back to the day of the Tony Blade battle, Tony's orders to kill my father ringing in my ears as I fired the bullet to eliminate my father from Tony's new world.
I looked over at my friends, they were all held down to the ground by Tony's ability's, he was clearly going to win this battle as none of us knew how to fight against the Chaos Core. I looked back over to Tony, standing nearby, in a blink he stood right in front of me.
"Izzy Steallarhart" Tony spoke smiling at me. "You really think I, Tony Blade didn't think that today could've been my last day on earth? You really think I didn't plant a little piece of my consciousness inside of someone?" Tony asked his voice echoing as the world around me started waving, suddenly I found myself in the middle of the woods. In front of me was Jack and Andrew.
They were both a few years older, both sporting small beards and wearing much more rugged clothing, with Jack not even wearing his signature brown leather jacket. Andrew raising a bow and arrow in my direction, they both had visible cuts and old scars covered on there bodies.
"What the hell do you want?" Andrew shouted at me.
Jack drew a pair of knives and they both looked at me the same, as if I was some kind of monster.
"Piss off, Or we'll make you regret it!" Jack spoke through gritted teeth.
I heard a echoing voice in the back of my ear, it whispered. "Kill them"
"Hey Bitch!" A voice shouted to my left, I jumped a little and looked over, it was Jack, how I remember him, his hand lit up with fire and he tossed a fireball straight at older Jack. Suddenly I was back in Scarlette's village as older Jack was replaced with Stitches.
I found myself floating above the ropes that Stitches had me tied down in before, Twilight was screaming my name over and over telling me to wake up. Stitches rolled over and rubbed her arm, the arm taking the blunt of the fireball.
"So much darkness that I sensed inside you Izzy" Stitches shouted at me. "Your friends are doomed!" She laughed teleporting away.
I landed on the ground, John and Daniel appearing from out of the woods, running into the village taking down the soldiers that Stitches still had on site. Jack ran straight to me and hugged me as soon as I landed.
"Izzy! Are you alright? Are you okay?" Jack asked frantically, he must've saw panic on my face, the same panic I was feeling.
"Yeah- yeah I think I'm okay" I lied hugging Jack tightly. Whatever Stitches made me see, however much of it was real I had to push away. The darkness, the madness wasn't me, it wasn't, it couldn't be. Still, a part of me was wondering, how much of the battle of Tony was real? Did Tony really say that to me before Andrew arrived? Did he just make us forget it? Could he? What about the vision of Andrew and Jack, was that just Stitches or was that some kind of future?
A few minutes passed and we all collected ourselves, Daniel mentioned to me how he is now out of the hospital, while Jack brought me up to speed with what was happening with the others while I was here, Betty's death, Ace's injury and Echo's return. I told them about Stitches and the Chaos Core, and Stitches ties to Echo, but that was where I stopped, knowing that it wasn't time to tell anyone about what Stitches made me see. Twilight ran to me and hugged me almost the moment after I let go of Jack. Afterward Scarlette came to John, Jack and I with some news.
