'' Go ahead. I'm listening. '' Talon drags me outside of the Demacian castle to question me about what he just knew. All the way I was thinking how to explain to him about Katja, where she came from, and what's her plan.

'' All I can say is for the moment I am Katja. '' I still refuse to tell Talon the truth.

No matter what happens never forget who gave up on you in the moments of need. Cassiopeia's voice is still in my head, reminding me of what I should & shouldn't do. Don't trust anyone Kat, not even me.

'' And what happened to Katarina Du Couteaux? '' Talon peers into my eyes. It seems like he is trying to find his sister inside of this person standing in front of him.

'' She's gone. She disappeared the moment everyone gave up on her. The moment that no one wanted to listen nor to believe her. '' I stick to what my brother & my family did for me back home. Hoping that hitting him with this truth will stop him from asking any further questions.

'' She's not. '' Talon puts his hands on my shoulders. '' She's still here. I can still see her inside of you. And I know she has a reason to do what she's doing right now. ''

'' Hey! '' Garen and Akali interrupt him. They are walking towards us again.

'' Now before those two come I want you to know that no matter what happens, no matter what you're doing, I got your back Kat. I am by your side. '' Talon comforts me before our new fake friends come along.

Talon says those words and I think where was this person the moment I needed him most? Where was he hiding inside of him? It annoys me how we have to be accompanied by Akali and Garen most of the time.

I cannot even ask Talon about Garen & when did this secret friendship start between the two of them. When and how did they meet? Why he never told anyone about him before? Especially me. I have known all Talon's friends & I have trained besides them as well. But Garen, he was hiding him for some reason & it's for me to find it out.

'' I have to go. '' I step away from the group which Akali, Garen & Talon form. I move away from them before it gets worst for me. The fact that I miss my brother too much makes me want to stay & hang out with them. But the mission I am here for keeps reminding me that I should stay away.

I walk inside of the castle rushing towards my room. Maybe training in the early morning wasn't a good idea as many champions thought of it. As I reach my place, I head towards the shower to refresh myself.

'' Woah! '' I open the curtains and here's Cassiopeia in the tub. '' What are you doing here? '' I wasn't expecting her at all.

'' I came to chat. '' Cassiopeia is playing with the soap in her hands, trying to fit her tail inside of the tub.

'' About? '' I cannot guess what can be so urgent that she broke into the castle & took this risk.

'' Our next step Kat. Look, there are so many things which you don't know about. And unfortunately, I have been told by Lulu to give you the undesired lecture. '' Cassiopeia doesn't seem to enjoy what she's here for. '' Just to go your bed & give me a couple of seconds to get ready. ''

'' I am still waiting. '' I shout for Cassiopeia after two minutes pass by. I still watch the clock. She comes & sits next to me. It feels so weird that she's out of the water, away from the forest, and between humans by my side.

'' Aren't you scared of being exposed? '' I ask her.

'' No one of them can see me. Only you can. '' She smiles. '' But, everyone else can here me too. '' She whispers.

'' How? '' I look around me maybe she's accompanied by Lulu, or any other mage which I am not aware of.

'' Yeah, the little witch. But don't worry she's not here. '' Cassiopeia tries to keep her voice low & her words clear enough for me to understand through the hiss.

'' Garen & Talon has been friends for years. Since their first battle against each other. '' Cassiopeia starts answering the questions I had in mind one by one, without me asking for it. '' They couldn't tell anyone because your father, Albert, and the commandant Hammunculus have been enemies even before you were born. ''

'' But why? '' I could've guessed its because of the conflicts which my father & commandant Hammunculus always had. The main reason which started this hatred between the two is the secret which not everyone seems to know; even those who know they refuse to speak about it.

'' Now I am not here to gossip about your father & the dead commandant hammunculus. I'm here to tell you about our next step. '' Cassiopeia's eyes widen. I can feel her trying to change the subject but I don't object. '' You need to have access to Hammunculus' office. He has a box inside. That box hides a magical book, which will be very beneficial for us. ''

'' So, our target is the box. '' I repeat after Cassiopeia.

'' No sweetheart. Our target is the book. '' She corrects me.

'' But how am I going to access his office? '' I remember that Garen already suspects my identity now. As I have told wrong information about where I came from, he will watch me more closely. He will be more careful from me.

'' Kat, listen, the guy obviously likes you. Just use it. '' Before I answer Cassiopeia, we both hear footsteps walking in the main corridor. And laughter approaching us. '' Now you solve the rest. '' Cassiopeia escapes out of the room from one of the windows.

I watch Cassiopeia as she moves further than me, sneaking out of the castle again.

'' Knock Knock. '' I hear a voice coming out from behind the door. Garen. Why is he here? What does he want?

the guy obviously likes you. I keep remembering Cassiopeia's words. I try to act normal. I try to breath normal.
