'' Then take me to your dad's office. '' As soon as Garen offers to help I think of pursuing the plan suggested by Lulu and Cassiopeia.

'' Why? '' He knows everything about me, and he also offered to help. But he doesn't trust me at all.

'' I thought you were willing to help me. '' I hope my words will make him stop asking questions & does whatever I ask for.

'' I am still, but why would you need my dad's office? '' He insists. I don't know whether I should explain to him about Cassiopeia & Lulu or not. If he knows why I am here, he probably knows about them as well.

'' It was suggested for me as the first place to get answers from. '' I try my best to do not mention Lulu & Cassiopeia. I think of the probability of Garen knowing all about them as well, but I do not risk to admit it myself.

'' I can't believe you trust a snake & a wolf! '' His answer says it all. '' Don't give me that look, '' My eyes open so wide. '' I saw you when my dad was murdered. I have been following you since then, and trust me, no one knows you had nothing to do with it as much as I do. ''

'' If you do know than why you didn't say anything? '' I wonder why wouldn't he simply tell that it wasn't me. One word from him and everyone will trust me back. Just one gesture from Garen Crownguard and I will get my old life back.

'' These people don't listen to anything but proof. '' Garen starts walking and I follow him.

'' Where are you going? '' I question him on the way as he takes turns which I haven't been to before.

'' My dad's office. '' His answer surprises me as he seemed to do not trust my words moments ago. Even if he trusts me, he wouldn't trust a snake & a wolf.

'' But if you don't want to trust those two then why are you helping me take the path which they showed me? '' I don't believe he does this because he wants to. He tells me stay away from the wolf & than he plays with its tail, which isn't so smart from him.

'' Go ahead. '' He opens his dads office and invites me in. '' I dare you if you'll find something which will help you. '' His eyes are locked on mine. His stare is soft but his angry tone is still there.

I go inside of Commandant Hammunculus' office. It's the moment I came to the Demacian castle for. It's the moment I have been waiting for since I decided to follow Cassiopeia. Since I fell in the water.

Slam.

I hear the door slamming from behind me. Garen closed it. My daggers are still in prepared position for any betrayal from him. Even my family members betrayed me, I don't expect Garen to be different.

'' So? '' He asks.

'' So?! '' I repeat after him.

'' Are you going to start searching for what drove you to the office or not? '' He seems in a rush. He doesn't like that I am here.

This office is the secret home for his father & for Demacia. Every Demacian secret is buried here. Starting from their spoken of victories to their hidden defeats. The office is too small. I expected the home of Demacian secrets would be bigger than that. But no, it isn't much different from my father's.

I look around me. I see the decoration, the way everything is in place, and I remember my father. Commandant Hammunculus was my father's biggest enemy & he is so similar to him.

'' Why would they hate each other if they are so similar? '' I mistakenly think out loud.

'' The similarities are what made them both leaders. And its what led towards their endless fights. Although they were close friends once. '' Garen steps around to find his place in his father's chair.
