We had been driving for about one hour, and had gotten away from the snowy mountains. We were now back right outside the city I had been missing so dearly. Jaehyun, who had fallen asleep holding my hand, began to wake up. A feeling of guilt entered my body, he had been working so much to help me that he had forgotten to rest. He was an idol, he had probably skipped practices several times already too.

He looked up at me, and then right outside the window. His eyes widened and he suddenly sat up. "Stop here!" Jaehyun yelled out, and the car drove off the road and stopped at the side of the pavement. "I will be back soon." He told me before running out of the car. I tried to push my body to the other side of the 'sofa' in the back of the big van, but my body didn't let me, and I was forced to lay still.

After a couple of minutes, Jaehyun was back, only this time he held one ice cream in each hand. He sat down beside me, and put one of them besides him. He dug his spoon into his ice cream and looked at me. "You like cookies and cream?" He asked and showed off his perfect smile. "It's my favorite."

He fed me the ice cream, and laughed a bit. The van started moving again and we were now even closer to Seoul. Xiumin suddenly sat down at a seat in front of us, while looking back. "Are you going back to the NCT house or are you coming with us to our apartment?" Xiumin smiled and waited for my answer.

"Wait a second."

It was Irene's voice who spoke up. She sat two seats in front of Xiumin again, and she turned around to face him. "She needs to be somewhere safe, not in an apartment of a mafia gang, unless you want her to die." She  turned around again, leaving Xiumin looking a bit more clueless.

"I don't think she should be back at NCT's either. A tour will be up soon and the boys are so loud. Plus, we are eighteen boys in a mansion, I don't think it is what she needs right now." Jaehyun stated before feeding me once more. I looked down, I felt like such a burden to everyone.

"There is one option left." Jaehyun suddenly spit out into the silent van. "What is it?" Xiumin asked. "The holidays are coming up and my family is always at our cabin in the US, which means that my house is empty of people right now. She could stay there if you want."

My stomach was suddenly filled with butterflies, and my cheeks turned red. "I actually have a small vacation because we had been practicing so much for the tour that is coming up in two weeks, plus Christmas is coming up."

Xiumin nodded understandingly at him. "So she can stay at your place for the upcoming week with you?" Xiumin asked. Jaehyun was about to answer, but someone interrupted him. "What! You can't mean that she will be staying at his place now?" Baekhyun yelled and ran up to us, and sat at the seat across from my other brother.

"Think about the situation, Baekhyun. Where else could she stay?" Xiumin answered before giving me a little wink. I laughed a bit, before Baekhyun continued. "She has been locked up with a mad man, and the first thing she does is to stay at a strangers house?"

Jaehyun looked down at the ice cream that was slowly melting into liquid, he became silent. "He is not a stranger, he has been awake for several days trying to figure out how we could take her back from that mad man! He is kind, you need to trust him if Y/N does." Xiumin yelled back, and now it was Baekhyun's turn to get silent.

"Do you really trust him, Y/N?" Baekhyun asked me while looking directly into my eyes. My eyes wandered over to Jaehyun again, who's head still hung down. "Yes, I do." I answered while stroking his hand gently. "Okay fine! But stop all that touching then." He said while pointing his finger at my hand. I could see Jaehyun's ears getting red, it was cute seeing him flustered like this. "And I will come over to see if everything is okay!" 

I nodded in response. Jaehyun told Baekhyun where the address of his house was. 

Since Jaehyun's house was a bit outside of the city, we had to change the plan. GD found the quickest way possible to his house, and started driving.
