Did That Just Happen? (Damian Lillard Love Story)

Chapter 13

"Is this gonna be a normal thing?" Wesley asked as Dame kissed me.  We were back in Portland, chillin at Damian's house.

It was me, Dame, Wesley, Lamarcus, and Georgia. Me and Dame were on the couch.  Wesley was sitting next to Georgia on the floor. Lamarcus sat in the chair.

"What do you mean?" I asked him.  "You guys always damn near having sex in front of us" Georgia said.  "Its true" LA added playing Call of Duty.

"That is not true" Dame said.  "Yes it is" they all said.  I rolled my eyes and leaned back against him.

"I'm gonna get some more popcorn. Anyone need anything?" I said as I got up.  "Pepsi" both Wes and Georgia said.

I was putting the popcorn in the  microwave when I got a text from my mom.

M:Are you still coming home for gram's birthday?

V:Are we gonna b in DC?

M:Yea  r u still gonna come?

V:Yea   is it ok if i bring a couple friends?

M: of course   is one of these friends a boy?

V: maybe   i have to go  i'll talk to you tomorrow

M: ok baby girl

"Hey, do you guys want to come with me to DC?" I asked walking into the living room.

"Hell yeah I wanna go! I haven't seen Mama Julie in so long." Georgia said.  "What about you guys? Up for a trip to DC?"

"I'm in" Dame said.  "I can't go.  I have to help my mom move" Wes said.  "I would love to, but I have to go to a family get together" LaMarcus said.

"Alright, I'll let my mom know.  At least I have you two.  I wouldn't survive the weekend without you guys" 

Don't get me wrong, I love my family. They just drive me insane and there's always some drama everytime we get together.

I text my mom telling her that Georgia and Dame were coming.  That led to her asking who Dame is, and I told her everything.

"As fun as it is to watch LA suck at Call of Duty, I'm bored" Wes said leaning on Georgia.  "Get yo big ass off me."  I laughed at them.

"But you love me tho" he said laying his head in Georgia's lap.  "So what should we do today?" I asked.  "You know what I've always wanted to do? We should go laser tagging" Georgia said getting excited.

"That sounds fun.  It can be guys against girls" Wes suggested.  "Thats unfair! Its only two of us and three of you guys" "Sounds pretty fair to me"  I threw a pillow at him.

"Hey nessa, can't you ask Kim to come with us?"  Kim is my old college roommate and now we work together.

"She might want to come. Let me ask her" I said pulling my phone out.  I sent her a quick text asking if she wanted to go.

"She going.  Do you want to go now?" "Yea lets go" Dame said getting up.  "Come on LA, you can finish later" I said walking over to him.  "Alright I'm getting up" he said not moving, still playing the game.

After about five minutes, Georgia grabbed the tv remote and turned the tv off.  "Hey!" he said looking at her.  She just glared back at him.

"Alright, just let me put my shoes on" he said turning the playstation 4 off.

We all got into LA's truck and drove to the laser tag place.   I hopped out of the car and ran over to Kim.  "Kimmie! I missed you!" I said hugging her. "You just saw me yesterday." She hugged me back and looked at everyone.

"Um Vanessa, why do you have basketball players with you?" She looked kinda shocked. 

"Kim, this is Damian, Wesley, and LaMarcus. Guys, this is my friend and coworker Kim"  They all said hi. We walked in got prepared to play.  We wore the blue vests and the guys had the red vests.

"You ready to lose?" I asked Dame.  "Are you?" he smirking at me.

The bell went off and we ran off.  It was really dark with neon lights everywhere and loud music.  When I turned the corner, I saw Wesley aiming his gun at me.

Before I could even get my gun up, he shoots me.  He smirks at me and I just glare at him.  I go up to the next level and I see LA down below me.  I shot at him and the light on his vest goes off. 

He looks up and and sees me. I waved smilling sweetly at him.

After a couple minutes, I ran into Kim. Only, she didn't know it was me. She was just shooting at me with her eyes closed. "Kim!"  She opened her eyes. "Oh its you."

"Yea.  Next time you shoot at someone, make sure your eyes are open"  I went down the hallway when I was pulled into dark corner.

"Dame what are you-" He kissed me, cutting me off.  I put my hands on his sides and kissed him back. Soon I opened my eyes and saw Wesley shooting at me.

"Were you shooting me the whole time?"  "Yea, I shot you about 6 times.  It was Dame's idea" he said running away before I could get to him.

I looked back at Dame and glared at him. "That was dirty" I said crossing my arms over my chest.

"I'm sorry babe"  He kissed my cheek and walked away.  I did the best thing I could do in this situation.

I aimed at him and shot him.

Yay! I shot my boyfriend in the back!

Okay, I just realized how wrong that sounded. Eh, whatever.

In the end, the guys ended up winning.  "You guys cheated" Georgia said while we were getting ready to leave.

"Is that you guys excuse for whenever you lose?" Wes asked.  "Its not an excuse. You guys did cheat" I said sticking my tongue out at them.

We walked out to the car. Georgia left with Kim, leaving me with the guys.  We hung out at Dame's house for a while until they left.

"Vans, are you still mad?" Damian said pulling me closer to him.  "No. I'm over it now.  That was still dirty. I wouldn't have done that to you."

"Yes you would" "Yea I would've did the same thing"

He rolled his eyes and kissed me softly.  I cuddled into his side and continued to watch the movie.
