I cover my ears as I sit uncomfortably at a sofa in the corner of the pub.

Yes. I am at the pub again. Pandemonium, was it?

The music is blaring through the speakers. People are enjoying their night, sipping on their drinks and dancing on the floor. Mostly people are in groups.

Yet here I am alone.

Yeah. Probably because someone thinks that people don't approach me when I am with two handsome men. Their morals goes down the drain according to him.

Hehehe... laughable. So uncomfortable!

I grab a drink from the waiter who was serving the people around. Maybe a drink would help me loosen up. I have to today.

I am wearing this red skin tight dress that leaves nothing to imagination, it's length too short to cover my thighs to the knees. It's somewhat midway to my thighs. I would have pulled it down a little if it didn't mean having my boobs on display. This great dress was idea of Mark who bought it for me from God knows where.

****Back in time****

"Wow. You look so hot!" Marks looks me up and down with appreciation while I squirm under his stare. It was awkward.

"Nah. She shouldn't wear something like this to the bar. She is not a prostitute!" Will says disgusted.

"No. That she is not but she is a seductress. Today she is gonna slay." Mark said still looking at me.

"Yeah. He is right, Ma-" I start after thinking but is interrupted by Will who sounds angry and disgusted "Yeah. She is a slut afterall."

I smile whilst looking at him.

I smile in despair.

I wanted to deny him but may be he was right. I am acting like a slut. Wearing this dress and to be able to step in front of them. I couldn't do this before. This dress barely covers me!

I was too stupid to think that Will will find it hot. That he will notice me or will call me pretty.

Who am I kidding? I am not pretty.

Before Mark could say anything, Will left the room.

"Snow, don't mind him. He didn't mean it. I don't know what's wrong with him? He is acting like a dad!" Mark exclaims.

"Oh. It's alright. I know that. Just shout out when we have to leave. I am going to my room." I say as I get up.

"Okay. You look sexy by the way." He smiles.

"Thanks." I smiled. Fake.

****Back to present****

"Hey!" An attractive man said as he walked to stand near the couch I am sitting on.

"Hey." I say awkwardly. No! Be confident! You can with a resolve today, right?

"Could you help me? There's this girl who won't leave me so could you please act like my girlfriend?" He smiles politely.

Such a bad liar. The least he could do was to make a good excuse or just ask if he could sit with me?

"Cool story man!" I smile. But I would entertain him because, first, he is handsome, and second, he is the only one who showed interest in me. "Come on. Sit with me."

"Oh thanks." He smirks as he settles down beside me. "I am Shane Austen and you?" He put forward his hand to shake mine as he introduces himself.

"I am Snow. Snow Watson." I shake his hand with a firm grip.

"So why did you choose me out of all the beautiful ladies here to make that 'girl' run away?" I laugh.

"Because you are the only one who is so beautiful that she won't dare to have a head on with you." He answers smoothly as he laughs knowing fully well that I know about his 'girl'.

"Smooth. Very smooth." I smiled at him. "Nice flattery skills you got there." I laugh again as I grab a drink for him too.

"Never been praised for them. Maybe it's the beauty infront of me that I suddenly developed this talent." He smirked.

Damn!

I blush.

"So why a pretty lady like you alone here? Waiting for prince Charming." He smirks again.

"Hahaha...right." I laugh some more. His empty praises fueling my happiness. May be the alcohol too. It feels good.

"Let me tell you a joke. Do you know what do you call a fat psychic?" He asks.

Just a psychic?

But it's a joke.

"I don't know. What do you call him?" I ask.

"A four-chin teller!" He laughs.

I laugh out so loud that I had to bend forwards to control it.

A four-ch.....hahhaahahhaha.

I am clutching my stomach as I can't control my laughter.

After about half a minute, I stop myself from laughing any further and look at Shane who was looking at me dazed instead of laughing like me.

Shit! Is some part of my dress displaced. I start to correct my dress which was pretty much at the same place as it was before. I still repositioned it correctly on my neck area or should I say chest area.

"You laughed this hard on that lame joke." He asked in disbelief whilst I was checking myself out. I look up to see his awed face.

"Well yeah. I just did. It was so hilarious!" I laughed again, remembering the fortune teller joke.

"You are crazy! My friends said it's the lamest joke ever!" He exclaimed.

"Well, you know what? My friends say that I crack the lamest jokes so you can't win against me!" I say in pride. Why am I saying this with pride? Alcohol does make you weird. "If you knew that this is lame, why did you even say it?" I asked, curious.

"Because I wanted to see if you were interested?" He said embarrassed. He didn't want to disclose the lamest part I think. He was just to awestruck with my laughter and made that statement without thinking I guess. Cute!

"So what now? That you know that I am interested." I smile as I lean towards him. Challenging him.

I am close to my resolve. I have to make a boyfriend today. Whether temporary or permanent. Even if he is just after my body for some fun. I am desperate. I can't stay with Will anymore.

"Is that so?" He says seductively as he leans towards me too, his hand edging closer to my cheek.

More in next part. Till then

Stay tuned and stay awesome!

I will try to update the next part of this chapter soon but I have exams coming up soon (like from next week) and I am not so much prepared since I went on a trip last week sooooo...no promises. Probably after exams but who knows? May be before if I get bored with studying.
