I could feel Mrs. Tuan’s gaze on me as I decorated a box filled with petals.
It has been three days since I came to my parents-in-law’s house to manage all the requirements as Mark requested. My father-in-law didn’t say anything, but I know he was kind of pissed off. Mrs.Tuan said, Mr.Tuan doesn't really like Jiyeon. And I don’t know why. Jiyeon stayed with Mark’s family until their wedding. All according to Mark’s demand. I will do my best for their wedding.
At the same time, I’m busy with our divorce paper that will be done in two day from now.
“I can feel that your heart is broken right now. Why did you follow Mark’s requirement?” Mrs.Tuan still accompanied me.
“I really don’t know mama.”
I don’t really have an answer to that question. I don’t know why it was easy for me to follow what he wanted. Maybe I just want to prove to Mark that I’m not a barrier to their love.
“Arghh! I don’t really understand my own son. He was eager to tell me that he loves you, but suddenly he wanted to marry Jiyeon. That day, papa and I gave him the opportunity to choose between you or Jiyeon, and he still chose you and not Jiyeon. He keeps looking for you.” Mrs Tuan talked without stop. “I really don’t understand what young men think right now.”
My heart almost stopped when I heard the words from Mrs Tuan. Is it true? I wanted to ask but my tongue was tied. In the end, I just kept silent. It’s too late. He must hate me right now.
Mark’s return made Mrs Tuan end her speech. Mark kissed Mrs Tuan's cheeks and turned around without looking at me. Since the incident at the airport Mark never talked to me again.
“Look at it, his face looks like he is in a forced marriage. It is his wedding, not some funeral to attend.” Mrs Tuan said while looking at Mark, who went on to shut his door loudly. “All three of you are so stubborn. I don’t know what to say anymore.”
Mrs Tuan then left me alone that night.

I really don’t know what was in Mark's mind when he decided for me to tag along to buy Jiyeon and his ring. He even declared that he isn’t going if I’m not going too. And now, I just looked like a pole standing at the corner of the jewel shop.
I wanted to disappear right away because her smile was burning my heart. But every time I wanted to walk away, Mark would give me a look like he knows what I wanted to do right now. So I don’t have any choice besides following them.
I just followed them from behind. I don’t want to walk beside them because it feels so strange when I see both of them together.
“Where are you going?” Mark asked.
I stopped daydreaming when Mark asked me that. I looked around looking for Jiyeon.
“Where’s Jiyeon?” I asked Mark back.
“Already inside that restaurant. Come… let’s go!” Mark immediately took my hand and brought me to where Jiyeon was.
“Sit down here!” Mark's voice is kind of loud right now.
The seat he assigned to me was beside him while Jiyeon was in front of him.
“What do you want to eat?” Mark asked Jiyeon softly.
“Same as yours.” Jiyeon replied.
“Okay, I want to eat chicken chop. How about that?” Mark asked Jiyeon to agree and she smiled and nodded.
