My eyes opened still I was in my car. I tried to unlocking it but I 5didn't have the strength to go on. Maybe someone had saw my accident so they have called the emergency services. I felt someone getting the door open. "Sir? Are you alright?" He asked. I tried to get up but I was barely able to get out of there.

"You are hurt you need immediate medical attention." "No, I need to reach the hospital. I need to save y niece" I was out of breath, barely able to carry on. But I know I have to get there her safety comes first I cannot let her down. Not for anything. "Sir you need to stay put you have internal injuries. If you moved a little bit, it can be worse. Very much worse."

"You don't understand if I didn't get there, it will be worse than it was already." I tried to tell him. He held me down and called for someone. "Quick I need sedative." I heard him say. "Please don't, I really need to go to the St. Angel hospital" I told him. He looked at me and then said. "Hurry up, why are you delaying it." I heard footsteps as I decided to make a run for it. But my legs refused to work.

"Please don't make me, I want to reach there." I begged. "What you need is little rest and then you can go anywhere you want to, for now, you need treatment. Relax" I heard as he pushed something in my body and I fought to keep myself up and escape but I was feeling tired more and more. I was barely able to keep up. But then I have no point of fighting. As I lost my consciousness, there was only one thing on my mind, I failed her.

I woke up at white room and with my mother by my side. I am dreaming, I think I am still under in fluence of drugs. "Samuel, I took my off you for few minutes and this happens." "Momma?" I asked. "Who else nino? I got called from your sister telling me that you got into yet another accident. It is just too strange this happening again and again and again." I don't want to worry her by letting her know that these all events are carried out by yours truly.

"you are weak and you have suffered so many internal injuries," "Mom, I remember how is little April?" I asked. Her face fell. Oh no, if my father had harmed her, I will kill him with my bare hand. And nothing will stand in my way of doing so. "Mother what's wrong? How is April?" I asked again. "Tell me"

She stood up and turned towards the door "You should sleep. And I will be back in few minutes." She is hiding something, But she will not, not for long. I started to get up and she rushed back towards me. "Nino, don't you get up. You are badly hurt this time and they had to do many, many things to keep you stabilized. Don't do this to me son. I cannot lose you again and again," She begin crying. "Mom no, please don't cry"

I felt sleepy for some reason. "Mom what you did?" I asked. "Son, I am sorry. But doctors had said not to get you under any kind of excitement. Or you can be more harmed than before." "Mother you sedated me? How have you known to do that?" I asked "I am so sorry son. Please sleep. When you will be all better, we will talk I promise son. We will be alright." She slowly brushed her hands over my forehead and I couldn't keep my eyes opened.

The second time I opened my eyes and this time it was Lucian sitting in front of me. "Do you too want to knock me out?" I asked. "No, I am not." That was a relief. "But I am afraid I am not here to give you any kind of good news ." That was not something I was expecting. "Were you successful?" I asked. "Yes, I was successful but the data is encrypted we cannot broke into that yet, looks like Ezra had taken every precaution there is so that no one can actually break through." I nodded. "Keep trying and we will find out who was behind her accident." He nodded as he got up to leave, "Lucian, what else you came here to say?" I asked.

"April. There was a fire at the neonatal ward, And April she was..." "What happened Lucian is she alright?" I asked. "No, thought she wasn't harmed physically. She I haled lots of smoke and unfortunately, she slipped into coma last night. Now doctors aren't sure how to approach it, since she is premature, it is very difficult for her to breath on her own now." What? Aren't there were any guards? How it can happen and that too where such defenseless little children, it shouldn't have happened.

"I am sorry I have to be the one to deliver this news to you. I know how much April meant for you." "Thank you, Lucian, for telling me the truth, at least someone did tell me the truth." I told him. "Thank you" He nodded. "I guess my sister and Ezra are with April?" He nodded. "And What about Iris? How is she? Is something bad happened?" I asked.

"No, she is fine. Through she had took so much damage but somehow that girl refuses to back up. She is one stubborn female you need to watch out for that one." I laughed. She is one stubborn female. Then I remembered something." Hey I have remembered I installed the cameras all over the place. Maybe it will show us how it all started." I told him.

"I see where you are getting it from, ok, I know what to do. Leave it on me and I will make sure that I get the information as soon as I can." He said. "Thank, you, Lucian. You doing this is really...." "I am not doing for you or Ezra" Huh? Oh yes, he loves my sister too so April is also much important to him." Any way Thank you Lucian for doing this for me and the little one. I appreciate that."

I wanted to see them, but I have a be sure not to run into the security, I know they are around here somewhere. They are here somewhere; I have to be careful. As soon as I removed the iv attached to my veins, someone came in. Not again, I don't want to fall asleep I just want to be with my girl, that's all. I just want to be with her. Is that so much to ask for?

"Trying to Escape?" I looked at Marissa, what is she doing here? "I have been told that you will be trying to escape once you woke up." Is she making fun of me? "Are you here to stop me like all of them? Pinch a little bit of sedative like my mother did upon my unsuspecting self?" I asked. "Now, now don't be too harsh on your mother she was just trying to protect you against your own self"

Against my own self? What is that suppose to mean? "Please leave me alone, if you don't want to do anything you should leave" I am getting irritated here. There are many things going with me right now and I am not calm enough to make someone right now meddle with my business. "You are getting angry, and it is bad for your heart, I thought you were the calm one Mr. King" She is getting on my nerves.

"I am anything but calm right now. Will you please leave me alone?" I asked. "Do you want me to? I am the only one here really want to assist you." She is awfully cheerful and that is cheerly suspicious. "What kind of assistance?" I asked. "Just unite you and your girl?" that got my attention. "She is upset since she had known about you and April. She thinks she is responsible for all that." she told me. "What? She isn't responsible."

She closed her eyes leaning against the wall. "You know what even when she was injured herself, she had been sneaking out of her room and coming here, every night you are asleep. Staying beside you, awake keeping watch." What? Why she is injured she was hurt badly. "Why didn't you stop her if you knew?" I asked. "Same reason for which I will not going to stop you too Samuel, because you both need each other." She is right we do need each other.

"So, can I go?" I asked. "Sure, off you go before someone catches you. And be a darling and don't tell that I was the one who had help you otherwise I will be in trouble." I smiled. "Oh, didn't anyone give you the memo Miss? I am the boss man" She laughed. "Yes, you maybe the boss but the orders came from your boss, so... I won't be surprised if I got in trouble."

"Ok thank you, now will you please tell me where are you keeping my girl?" I asked. "Sure, she was never far from you Samuel. Follow the corridor and you will find her room the very last on this floor." She said winking. "Thank you" I told her and I ran towards her room. Good now finally I can see her. I can see my girl finally.

I stopped in front of her room. Someone was in there, I know. But why? Who is that person? I have to know. There was no one there in her family beside her mother. And as much as I know her mother is not here, she is not even in contact with her. Then who can it be who will be visiting her and too this late at night? I moved closer to get a good look and that man was the last one I ever thought will pay visit to her.

He turned around and his eyes met mine. He smiled, and I went rigid with shock, anyone but him, anyone but this guy.
