I spent the next few days being monitored, drinking blood when I was told to, hunting with someone every time. Keeping myself busy in an attempt to keep me distracted. It didn't work. And I knew Jasper was aware of this. I was craving the darkness I got when I passed out. I wanted it so much, I wanted to hear his voice again. To feel calm and at peace.

My family clued into the look I had on my face when I was thinking about it and attempted to distract me more around these times. It didn't work. Alec was always on my mind. Whether it be how much I hate him or how much I miss him, his presence was always there in the forefront of my mind. The only time he wasn't on my mind, was when I was with Seth. Seth made it easier to breath, theoretically, physically he stank, so it was hard to breath...

I spent hours laughing with Seth. But he had a job. He has to monitor the woods. And so would be gone for days at a time. That was when it got bad again.

It was during the time Seth was away that a break in the monitoring finally came when Alice, Rose and Mum went shopping. Jasper was doing business in the city and I was left with Emmett... big mistake on my families part. Emmett is easily distracted... too easily. I just challenged him to beat my score on Candy Crush. Distracted for hours.

When I knew he was fully distracted I snuck out the back door. I made a beeline for my little cave. Grabbed the open box of vodka bottles and started to climb the mountain. I soon heard a pair of mountain lions fighting.

I headed towards the noise. Placing my box down quietly before I leapt out from behind a tree right into the middle of the fight.

I easily snapped ones neck but toyed with the other one for a while. I ducked every time it swiped its paws at me before I got impatient. I needed the blackness.

I quickly broke the other lions neck and dragged them towards the cliff face. I sighed loudly when I realised I didn't have a cup with me. I went back to the trees and collected my box of goodies and taking them to the corpses of the lions.

"Just gonna have to drink it straight," I laughed to myself breaking the top off of one of the bottles and taking a swig. I swallowed quickly almost gagging. I retched loudly and grabbed a lion biting into its neck and feeling the warmth of the blood go down my throat.

I continued that method. Mouthful of vodka, mouthful of blood. And a few bottles in I found myself talking to the dead lions.

"All I want is to be able to hear him. My family, they just don't get it. But you do Lionel. I am very sorry I had to kill you. If I could drink this straight, I would. But unfortunately, I need your blood to drink it. Not your blood specifically. Just any blood. You were just available babe. Hopefully death wasn't too painful. I think it's very much like the blackness I feel when I pass out. Nice and peaceful," I sighed taking another swig from Lionel the lion.

"Elizabeth!" I heard someone calling.

"Oooppps looks like they realised I am gone!" I laughed to myself reaching for another bottle.

I picked up the last bottle, took a big gulp out of it and filled it back up to the top with the last of Lionel's blood.

"Well thanks for the conversation Lionel and Lionel's friend. Its been great. Till the next time," I said in a strange accent while using the cliff face to drag myself onto my feet.

I stumbled down the cliff. (I didn't go very high up in the first place) and wandered around the forest, occasionally sipping at my drink.

"Elizabeth!" I heard the voice call again.

"Is that Emmett!" I laughed hysterically grabbing onto a tree as I fell over.

He must have heard because he soon appeared in the tree line.
