Chapter 24

"You know they only told you to take me hunting so they could tell everyone else what happened in London," I muttered.

"It's because they love you El" Seth told me.

"I know, but I am fine. They don't need to worry everyone else," I explained.

"Are you okay though?" Seth asked concerned.

"Yeah I honestly am. If you weren't here the answer would be different. But I'm fine at the moment," Seth looked doubtful "I promise. And if I'm suddenly not, then you will be the first to know,"

He looked content with that and froze as we approached the house.

"What's wrong?" I asked him.

"It's my turn to have a problem," he told me "There's an awful lot of red eyes in there... it's going to be hard for me to control myself..."

"What can we do to help you?" I asked.

"I am just going to have to limit my time here," he mumbled.

"Then I will stay with you. We can stay at yours... if I am allowed. Then I will come home during the day while you are doing pack work," I told him.

He smiled at me sadly.

"I don't want to take you away from your family El," he sighed.

"You are my family as well Seth," I smiled at him and kissed his cheek.

He hugged me tightly before we walked into the house. As soon as I entered, I was attacked by my brother.

"Thank god you're okay!" he exclaimed hugging me.

"I am fine Eddie," I muttered.

He pulled away and looked into my eyes. He could always tell if I was lying. When he saw I was telling the truth he nodded and kissed my cheek.

"At least your home now," he told me "And someone has missed you,"

"Auntie El!" a voice screamed.

I caught Renesmee as she jumped at me.

"Oh my gosh! I have been gone a few days and you've grown at least a foot!" I laughed.

Seth stood behind me and wrapped an arm around my waist.

"Hey Sethy," Ness greeted, and Seth kissed her forehead.

"So, what do you think of everyone?" I asked her.

"They are all strange," she whispered.

I laughed.

"You haven't met everyone Ellie, come say hi," Edward told me.

We walked into the living room where loads of red eyed vamps were sitting.

I waved at Maggie, Siobhan and Liam. I grinned at Jam and Tia who were smiling happily at me next to a sour faced Amun.

Alistair must have still been in the attic because he wasn't around.

My cousins were all sitting in the corner and I smiled warmly at them all.

I looked around at the others who I didn't know.

"Hey, squirt it's been an awful long time!"

"Garret!" I exclaimed fist bumping the guy.

He stepped aside as Edward stepped forwards and started talking.

"Alice and Jasper have been sending help as well..." he told me.

"Have you heard from them?" I asked excited.

He shook his head.

"Not directly... they sent Peter and Charlotte from Texas," he continued.
