This is now officially my longest book!!!

I decided to head onto the roof where I found, to my surprise, Rose.

"Hey Rosie," I greeted sitting next to her "What are you doing?" I asked.

"Well I was hoping you would eventually come up here to be honest with you Ellie," she answered throwing her arm around me.

"Why?" I asked looking at her like she was crazy.

"Cause you're the only one who understands," she stated, "Most people see me as cold hearted, you... however cold hearted I am towards you... see me differently,"

"That's because I knew you when you first turned Rose. I know that the cold-hearted front is a way to protect yourself... This is about Jazz isn't it?" I asked.

She nodded at me "Everyone misses them, I get that. And I miss Alice, but I won't lie El... I think I'm missing Jasper more,"

"Me too..." I mumbled.

"I have spent decades playing twins with him. And I guess that's worn off on me a bit," Rose chuckled.

"Jazz has a way of sneaking into people's hearts, he always acts quite cold, just like you. But he's a teddy bear really," I laughed.

"Don't let him hear you say that," Rose laughed with me.

"Do you remember when they first moved in? And Jasper was all straight and scary. No one wanted to sit next to him!" I laughed.

"And you just went and sat straight on his lap like a madwoman," Rose laughed back.

"And when we first told him he would have to go back to school!" I burst out "His face was so funny! What was it he said?"

"I joined the army to get out of school, why would I torture myself and go back?" Rose mimicked "And how about all the times he's got you in trouble for using slang,"

"The English language was written to be used correctly Elizabeth. So, you are going to speak it the way it was intended," I repeated what Jasper had said to me a thousand times before pointing my index finger as if I was telling Rose off.

"That always made me laugh," Rose giggled "You know he used to use slang all the time when you weren't around,"

"What!" I exclaimed almost falling off the roof.

Rose caught me in time and burst out laughing.

"Yep, all the time," she informed me.

I sat sulking while Rose continued to laugh at me.

"Oh look, Edwards coming, you better go get ready to go to Charlies," Rose pointed out.

"I guess I better," I said.

I stood up and started walking across the roof. I stopped suddenly and turned to Rose, running back and kissing her cheek.

"Merry Christmas Rosie,"

"Merry Christmas Ellie," she smiled back at me as I did a backflip off the roof.

I landed delicately on my feet before running up to my room and getting changed.

I put some grey skinny jeans on and added a cream off the shoulder jumper. I tied my hair up in a bun and grabbed the painting I had done for Seth. I placed it next to the front door ready to go and went around the house wishing everyone a merry Christmas.

I found my brother in dads' study with Bella and Ness.

"Just doing the morning checks," Bella told me as I kissed her cheeking wishing her merry Christmas.

I did the same to my brother who hugged me warmly and then to Ness, who could barely contain her excitement.

"Can we go now El!" she cried out.

I looked to Bella who nodded reluctantly "She's not going to stand still anyway, so its going to be impossible to check her height,"

Ness jumped on my back and we walked to the front door. Ness jumped off and admired my artwork.

"Its beautiful," she gasped out "Will you teach me?"

"One day I will Ness," I promised her.

We loaded everything into the car and headed over to Charlies.

As soon as the car stopped, Seth was bounding out the house in my direction. I jumped out of the car quickly and he scooped me up in his arms spinning me around.

"Hey baby," I mumbled into his neck and I wrapped my arms around him tightly.

He mumbled something back, but I couldn't tell you what he said because Ness was screaming at us.

"Come on Ellie and Sethy!"

We broke apart and followed her into the house. Edward had brought the gifts in and was greeting Sue and Charlie. I did the same and when all the greetings were finished, we all sat around the tree.

Most of the presents were for Ness. Us Cullen's don't give each other gifts anymore. It's a rule that I know Bella was very happy to hear.

Seth handed me a small package.

"This is for you," he grinned at me.

I ripped the badly wrapped paper off of it and opened the small black box. I gasped when I saw what was inside. Two tiny wolf earrings. They looked to be carved out of wood, but they were the exact same colour as Seth's wolf.

"They are stunning!" I exclaimed taking them out of the box and putting them in "Thank you!" I kissed him gently.

He grinned at me and Ness came over to examine them.

"They are pretty Sethy," she told him nodding at him in a way that screamed 'you did good'

Everyone chuckled at her.

"And this is for you," I told him as I handed him the large canvas.

He flipped it over so he could see it and his mouth fell.

"Your artistic skills get better every time I see them," he said gobsmacked.

"Oh wow... did you do that Elizabeth?" Sue asked.

I nodded blushing slightly.

"She's going to teach me how to do that Grandad," Ness told Charlie before she continued opening presents.

"Its perfect," Seth whispered to me kissing me deeply.

He then pulled me into his lap, and we sat and watched my niece enjoying her first Christmas.

"What are you doing for the rest of the day?" Seth asked me quietly.

"Hunting tonight. And then tomorrow we are packing up and moving to the campsite," I told him.

"Okay. Send me a message when your home and I will come over," Seth agreed.

"Spend some time with your mum and sister though babe okay?" I told him.

He smiled and nodded at me.

After the people who could eat food, had eaten Sue's Christmas dinner, us vampires, and Ness all got ready to leave.

I bid everyone goodbye. Kissed Seth and promised to see him later and we all jumped into the car.
