I watched the sea of black march towards us. When they came to a halt and removed their hoods, my eyes automatically landed on Alec. He was looking at me as well.

Seth whined softly and I broke eye contact with Alec and smiled apologetically at Seth. Kissing his head softly.

We both turned towards the Volturi when we heard a growl and saw Alec take an angry step forward. Only to be stopped by Aro.

The leader of the coven turned to me and grinned.

"Elizabeth, you did quite some damage to our Alec when you met in London," he stated.

"'Your' Alec did some damage to me on the same night Aro... and not to mention the previous damage he caused me when he purposely let an army of vampires try to kill me... I personally think he got away lightly Aro," I retorted taking a step forward.

Alec looked away ashamed.

"And yet he cannot learn from his mistakes, as he is here again, trying to rip my life apart..." I added.

"I forgot how outspoken you are Elizabeth, I have missed it around the castle," Aro told me.

"Shame this is the last time you will hear it seeing as your looking for any excuse to kill me and my family!" I exclaimed.

Wolf Seth nudged my shoulder in warning, and I breathed deeply.

"I'm sorry Aro, I'm sure you can understand that I am angry," I said calmly.

"Of course, Elizabeth... Alec made some big mistakes... ones he will pay for I'm sure, now back to the matter at hand, but as for killing. I won't kill you if you hand over the guilty parties," Aro smirked.

I opened my mouth, but dad's hands landed on my shoulders before I could say anything.

"No crime has been committed, these witnesses can attest to that, or you can look... see the flush of blood in her veins, hear her heartbeat. She is not an immortal," Dad called out.

"Artifice!" Caius shouted across the field.

"Like your hair then!" I screamed back.

"Elizabeth!" mum exclaimed at me.

"No, I don't like him mum!" I stated stubbornly.

"I don't think my brother likes you very much either Elizabeth, so its mutual. But I will collect every bit of the truth... but from someone more central to the story... Edward! Seeing as the child clings to your new-born mate, I assume you have something to do with it," Aro grinned.

Edward pulled away from Bella and kissed her and Renesmee. He walked past me and dad. Kissed my cheek softly before whispering.

"Please behave Ellie. I know your angry, but we are trying to stop a war here,"

I nodded and threw my arms around him quickly before allowing him to walk towards Aro.

I snuggled into Seth's side as Dad and Mum stood next to us as I watched my brother walk into a danger zone.

Everyone stood in silence. Aro used his mind and his gift to communicate with Edward. It was irritating really.

The next time he spoke he said, "I would like to meet her,"

I saw Bella look nervously at Edward. He nodded softly and Bella, Renesmee, Jake and Emmett all walked forwards. I tried to step forward as well, but Seth growled at me softly. I stepped back to his side and played with the chain around his neck that held his ring.

"If this comes down to a fight Seth, look after yourself, don't worry about me," I whispered in my mates' ear.

He turned his wolf head to me and rolled his eyes giving me a look that said, 'As if I could do that,' at least it could have been that. or it could have been a look that said, 'Feed me, I'm starving,' knowing Seth... it was both.
