When Seth woke the next morning, I was sitting at the end of his bed fully dressed.

"Why are you dressed?" he whined rolling over.

"Because your sister spoke to me last night and wants to hang out with me. So, she's going to be up soon, and I don't want her walking in on us," I explained chuckling.

"When did she get in?" he asked, his voice muffled by the pillow.

"About 2 this morning, she poked her head in when she got home," I explained.

"Why did she do that?" he asked sitting up quickly.

"Probably to return my jumper which was in the middle of the hall," I told him trying not to laugh.

He slapped his forehead and groaned.

"Great, she's going to tell mum... mums going to drill me..." Seth muttered climbing out of bed and getting dressed slowly.

I heard Leah get out of bed as well.

"She's up, where is your mum anyway?" I asked him.

"She's been spending a lot of time with Charlie. She doesn't want to tell us but it's pretty clear they are together, I think it's great, and Leah likes him too," Seth explained.

"Aww that's so sweet," I cooed and followed Seth out of the room.

We headed to the kitchen where Seth flicked the kettle on and shoved some bread in the toaster. I sat on a stool and watched as he poured two coffees and placed the toast on two plates. He had just finished when Leah walked out of her room. He handed her a coffee and slid a plate of toast towards her.

"Thanks," she mumbled shovelling toast into her mouth.

"So, what's the plan for today?" Seth asked having perked up with some coffee in his veins.

"I'm going to show El the rez. Hopefully find some good landscapes to draw," Leah explained.

"Oh, that sounds so good. Gives me a break from army training," I joked.

"Jake told me you were training everyone, how are you finding it?" Leah asked sipping her coffee.

"Stressful. Half of them know nothing about fighting. Seth's been helping me stay relaxed," I told her.

"Yeah, I guessed... Seth next time you are helping El destress, tidy up after yourself. I almost tripped over her jumper this morning," Leah teased.

"Yeah yeah... whatever Leah," Seth mumbled.

I smiled sheepishly.

They finished their breakfast and Seth kissed me goodbye before he left to run patrol. Me and Leah grabbed our art supplies and headed out of the small house.

We wandered around the rez. She showed me all the elders houses. The local school. The cliffs that Bella once jumped off. And the rock pools in the woods.

We sat and drew in many of these places. Both of us complimenting each other's technique.

We stopped at the local town for some food for Leah and then wandered through the shops. We headed back as the sun started setting. And found Seth waiting for us with some pizzas. Him and Leah tucked in and we chatted nonsense for the evening before Leah had to go out on patrol.

When Seth started yawning, we headed to his room. As soon as his head hit the pillow, he was fast asleep, but he pulled me into his side tightly and I rested my head on his chest.

A few hours passed of me listening to my boyfriend's heartbeat when I heard my phone chime.

It was a text from mum.
