Aphmau's POV

Sly looked back over at me, almost confused. He seemed to be questioning what had happened. I was as well. I stood there, trying to remember what I had done.

"You threw them at the walls." I suddenly heard from inside my own head.

I allow myself to answer her, slipping into my head as I do so, 'What? How? Huh?'

"You threw them at the walls," she repeated.

'Repeating yourself,' I paused, 'isn't helping me any.'

"They were overloading your senses. So you threw them at the walls." I could see her physical form now, although earlier I could not. The most human-looking figure was watching me closely.

'So, they were like being too loud? But aren't they always that loud? What changed?' I inquired as her violet eyes tracked my every move.

She thought for a moment, twisting her hand, with painted lilac nails, threw her raven hair. Hair that slowly transitioned into being a more lilac color, "Quite a few things. Nothing to be alarmed about though."

'I would appreciate it if you told me what those things were.'

"You have to get going now," she said, "Or the others will get suspicious."

Instead of answering her, I simply shook my head enough to clear it. Sly had wormed his way closer to me, and everyone else seemed to have calmed down a bit. This was good. They aren't terrified anymore.

"I think I know what happened," I said, looking over at Sly, allowing my gaze to settle on him. He looked away from Steven, to look me in the eyes, face softening ever so slightly when he looked at me.

He took a step towards me before he spoke, "What happened, mi amor?" I could see the hint of worry in his eyes but also an adoration at being able to see me, I guess the reality of it still hasn't worn off.

"I think I did something to them."

"No." His one-word response was enough to upset me. He was so quick to deny that the cause of their terror was me. Did he not see the way they looked at me? How they wanted to run? They're scared of me. Although, if I wanted to prove it, I could just ask them...

"Steven," I say, turning to the one person I can tell no here minds if I scare, "Can I ask you a question?" I continue, not waiting for his response.

"Uh, yeah, s-sure," He stutters.

I take a step closer to him, only for him to take a step back, "What happened to scare you lot so much?"

He shakes his head a little bit before looking me in the eye, "You didn't look the same. You didn't look like you. You didn't look like Jess. You,

You were on fire."
