Aphmau's POV

I suddenly snap out of when I hear a knock on the door. I look up only to see Castor, Leo, and Flippy standing in the doorway.

"Mommy? Are you okay?" I hear Flippy ask me.

"Momma? What happened?" Leo asked, "Why are you crying?"

I motion them to come over, to which they gladly cooperate, before pulling them into a hug, "I was just remembering some good times with your father..." I tell them, "I'll be fine, boys," I say, forcing a smile onto my face. I see Castor from the corner of my eye giving me a worried look.

"It'll be fine, Mommy!" Flippy said, "We'll see Daddy again someday, right?"

The force of my smile lessens a bit thinking about seeing Sly again with the boys, "Yes, Leo. You see your father again. Someday." Flippy and Leo hug me tightly before letting me go.

"Uncle Castor said we're all going to one of your friend's sleepovers. Is that true Momma?"

I send a grateful look over to Castor for telling them before I answer, "Yes, boys. We're going to one of Uncle Castor and I's friend's houses. Now I have something to tell you, okay?"

I watch my two boys nod, "Okay. While we're there or anytime you see one of our friends, you have to pretend Uncle Castor and I are your brother and sister, okay?"

I watch Leo's face become etched with confusion, "Why, Momma?"

"Our friends think you're our little brothers. What do you think they'd do if they found out you were my sons?"

I watch the two boys nod before I look at the time. 7:42. We have to leave soon.

"Cas, we have to leave in a few minutes. It's 7:42."

I watch Castor sigh, "You always have bags packed with overnight stuff, right? I only got my stuff packed before we came over here."

I nod, "Yeah, just in case you-know-who shows up unexpectedly. I'll grab them then you grab the car and get the boys buckled?"

"Okay, see you in a few minutes, Jessie."

I shake my head before walking over to my closet again and placing the purple bag inside. I instead pull out a baby blue, pastel green, and lilac purple bags instead. Each one has one of mine or the boy's names on them, blue for Leo, green for Flippy, and purple for me. They'll only open for me or the boys and whoever we choose to give permission to. Of course, Castor has permission to go in mine.

"Jess! Come on! We need to get going!"

As soon as he finishes, I'm downstairs and in the car, "Yeah, Cas. Get in the car and start driving."
