Aphmau's POV

I walk into the school, wandering around for only a second before a brunette, brownie, walked up to me.

"Hello~," He said, clearly full of confidence and not caring who heard, "I've never seen you around here before~"

I restrained myself from hitting him, only putting on a smile as Castor had done earlier, "Hello to you as well. I'm new here, so would you mind showing me to the office?"

His smile faded a bit before he spoke, "Huh, aren't there two of you? At least, that's what Garroth said..."

So that's blondie's name. Duley noted. I gave him a small nod, "Yeah, he's just dropping our, " I paused a bit, knowing it'd be hard to say, "brothers," there, the hard part is done, "off at school."

He gave me a smile back before grabbing my hand and leading me past a couple of doors, "I'll go wait for him after I drop you off then. I can send one of my friends over to help you with your classes if you'd like?"

My eyes widened, surprised by the offer, "Uh, yeah, if it's not too much of an issue for you."

He lets out a laugh before shaking his head in dismay, "Issue? It'd be," he stopped mid-sentence due to the laughter he was attempting to hold back, "I can just text them that one of the new kids is waiting at the office," he then proceeded to hold up his phone, allowing me to see it. My eyes widen slightly, I had clearly forgotten about phones, the greatest inventions on the planet.

"Uh," I gave a slight pause as I tried to think of what to say next, "Sorry, I blanked out there. I forgot about the wonder known as phones."

I watch as his laughter turns into softer chuckles, "I had a feeling. Well, you met Garroth already, right? He said he met you and your brother earlier."

"Yeah, yeah, I did." We did meet him earlier but still, Castor and I aren't siblings. This is going to get annoying very quickly.

He gave me a nod, "I'll send him over then while I get your brother. Before I do, can I know his name, oh, and while I'm at it, yours?"

"Yes, you can. I'm surprised we forgot to introduce ourselves," I really am, "so you will have to inform me of your name as well if you don't mind."

He thought of his answer for only a second, "Deal." He stuck his hand out as if asking for a handshake. I almost giggled at this sign before taking it.

"Deal! You're going first though." I watched him put on a pouty face before giving me an answer.

"Laurence, now your name beautiful. Oh, and your brother's."

"My brother's name is Castor," so glad we discussed this beforehand, "and mine is Aphmau. Also, don't call me beautiful."

His once sly grin turned into a frown, "Aw, why can't I state the truth?"

I suppressed another giggle, "Because," which lie do I pick? "I don't like people I've just met calling me beautiful. For all, I know you're just trying to get on my good side." Eh, not the best but should hold him off.

He didn't look too pleased with this answer, but took it anyway, "As you wish then. Now I really should text Garroth..."

I raised an eyebrow at this, "We've been talking for how long, and you still haven't texted him? How long does that take?"

He raised his hands in surrender, "You got me there, but only because I was distracted by your beauty."

"Can you just text him already?" I really do need to get to class. It was a good idea to leave a half-hour early...

"Fine, fine."
