Aphmau's POV
We had left the house an hour ago and apparently, we still weren't to the place Sly wanted to take me. How far away was this place?
"Jess, love, what are you thinking about?"
"Where we could be going. Stari, why do I feel like everyone but me knows where we're going?"
"Mhm, I'm sorry mi amor. I'm afraid everyone but you know what I'm planning. I'm sure you'll figure it out before we get there, isn't that correct mi amor?"
"¡Stari, te lo juro a Thor si no me dices en este instante que voy a llover sobre ti desde los cielos! (Translation: Stari, I swear to Thor if you don't tell me this instant I'm going to rain thunder from the heavens onto you!)
"Amor, sabes que no puedes hacerme daño." (Translation: Love, you know you couldn't hurt me.)
I only let out a sigh, knowing I wouldn't win this battle. I wrap my arms tighter around him as I feel the same sickness from when we started flying come back. He looks down at me as he feels his breathing cut off slightly from the force of my, uh, hug. He catches the look on my face before he lands inside of some trees and puts me down. I send him a thankful smile before I feel the contents of my breakfast leave me.
Sly comes over and rubs my back while that happens before he speaks, "How about a little mystery, mi amor? Between the two of us? You try and figure out where we're going?"
As soon as I'm done with my vomiting, I look up at him before I give a small nod in conformation, "Am I not already doing that, mi esposo?"
"I guess you are, mi amor."
I'd like to mention that they're talking in Spanish to one another. I'll put below what all the small phrases/words they've been using mean though.
Mi esposo=My husband
Ti amo=I love you
Yo también te quiero=I love you too
Oh and, remember that little 3 sentences, 6-word tidbit that Sly said at the end of Chapter 22? Here's what it means:
Mi amor. Mi vido. Mi todo.=My love. My life. My everything.
