The fandom grows strong

I've gone nuts. I have forced several people into this fandom. It's difficult, but I'm managing. Their comments though...XD
So first, Grell. I will call her this because she is the female version of Grell. She's obsessed with red, has red hair, is crazy, and she is a lesbian. She is awesome.
Our conversation:
Me: You should watch Hetalia.
Her: Maybe.
Me: You WILL watch Hetalia.
Her: da fuq, Kate.
Me: NOW.
Her: well, Kate's being sassy.
Me: *snaps fingers in z formation* (okay, maybe not. But I regret not doing that so much)
We watched Hetalia. The look on her face was priceless. But I still have trouble with getting her to continue the series.

Next there was Mads. I had to. Even though she didn't like it.
Me: watch Hetalia, Mads.
Her: how bout no. I like serious anime.
Me: MADS. You forced me to read Warriors. I will drag you kicking and screaming, into this fandom.
Her: well, then.
We watch part of the first episode. When we got to the part where Italy yelled "Pasta!" She actually walked out, saying "I'm done"

Then there was Hopey. We were both recommended to watch it. We watched the first episode together. At first we thought it was a clip. Not a full episode. So we just sat there, wandering wth we just watched. Then I found out it was the whole thing, and made her watch more. It was pretty fun.

Finally. My mom. I wanted to show her anime could be serious. So I have absolutely NO fruking idea why I chose Hetalia. I mean, it can occasionally be serious, but. No.
Our conversation:
The world meeting.
Her: Kate. Wth is going on?
Me: ^w^ I still don't know. Oh, yeah. When Germany talks it'll focus in on his mouth for some reason. Just ignore it.
Her: ...
When Italy and Germany meet.
Her: okay....are they gay?
Me: pretty much, yeah. It's amazing.

Later...
Mom: okay, is that Austria? *points at Germany*
Me: -__- no, mom. That's Germany. You shouldn't confuse those two. Austria is one of the few who ISN'T blonde.
Her: there are a lot of blondes in here.
Me: yeah, I know.
Her: so, are all of them gay?
Me: yeah. This show is great.
