KABANATA XVIII

Bakit nandito siya?

"Do you think that we are fools to believe you, Prinyana?" Napatayo si Prinyana dahil sa bagong panauhin.

"R-Rocco?" Tawag niya sa ngalan ng bagong rating na si Rocco. Ang kaibigan ko. Ang kababata ko. Anong ginagawa niya rito?

"Hindi kami tanga, Prinyana, para basta basta na lang paniwalaan ang sinabi mo. You are a married woman! How dare you deny your husband?" Nanlaki ang mga mata ko. Asawa ni Rocco si Prinyana?! Kailan?! Paano?!

Napatayo ako dahil sa nalaman. "P-Paanong?" Tiningnan ko si Prinyana, Rocco at Eryk. Bakit si Rocco? Wala siyang kinalaman dito.

"She used your best friend, honey." Nanlaki ang mga mata ni Prinyana at Duke.

"S-She is Rocco's best friend?" Lalapit na sana ako sa kaniya 'nang pigilan ako ni Eryk. Umiling siya sa akin, tila ba sinasabing huwag ko 'nang ituloy ang gusto at balak 'kong gawin. Gustong gusto ko siyang sampalin!

"Bakit sa lahat ng tao, si Rocco pa?! Bakit ang kaibigan ko pa?! Napakawala mong pusong tao para paglaruan ang puso ng kaibigan ko! Wala siyang ginawang masama sayo para parusahan mo siya ng ganito! Wala 'kang puso! Bakit mo pa siya ipinasok sa gulo ng pamilya mo?!" Niyakap ako ni Eryk at ibinulong ang mga salitang sinabi ko kanina sa kaniya.

"Kalma. Hindi ba't 'yun ang sinabi mo sa akin?" Humugot ako ng malalim na hininga at kinalma ang sarili ko.

"Huwag 'kang magalit, Tala. Wala namang masamang nangyari sa akin." Nilingon ko si Rocco.

"Pero pinapalabas niya na ang sumira ng pamilyang ito ay ikaw at hindi siya. Ang lakas pa ng loob niyang magpakita rito at ipamukha sa amin na ginamit ka lang niya para sirain ang pamilyang ito. Nandito siya para sabihing ikaw ang sumira sa 'kung anumang nagtatali sa pamilyang ito. Ginawa ka niyang fake para siya ang maging original na tagapagmana, ang lakas ng loob ng babaeng 'to!" Hinawakan ni Eryk ang kamay ko at pinisil ito.

"'Kung ga'non ay bakit mo hinahayaang i-deny ka niya sa harap ng maraming tao? Hindi ka ganiyan, Rocco. Gustong gusto mong nakikilala ng mga tao. Bakit? Bakit umabot ka sa puntong ito? Ikaw pa ba talaga ang kaibigan ko?"

No one can fake the marriage with the control of a Wiese. That was an obstacle in your plan, am I right? You did not expect me to take part in your marriage, right? You tried to fool me. Now your tita Lualhati moved faster than you expected and now she found Amede, my grandson's wife. She was the biggest threat, right? So you tried to get rid of her. I was just waiting for the right time to give what you really deserve. I am giving equal attention to the three of you but you two disappointed me. "I'm so sorry lolo, Prinyana will not do it again. I promise po. I'm sorry." Umiiyak na usal ni Prinyana.

"Lolo dad, I'm sorry. I promise that I will change and I will listen to whatever you're going to say. I'm so sorry lolo."

"You know, mga apo, you don't need to follow everything that I will say. Just follow your heart and if it's wrong, stop. Just like what Amede said, even if it will make you happy, if it is wrong, it is fully wrong. It will not change the fact that it is wrong. Just know your limits. Build boundaries. "Opo, lolo." Sabay na sagot ng dalawa.
