two days later

as i walk through airport security and collect my luggage i look around to see if i can see jonah

i finally see him stood next to a bench, i pick up my pace and when i am stood in front of him i wrap my arms around him and give him a hug

"hey how was it?" jonah asks and i pick my bags back up only for jonah to take my suitcase and pull it along himself while giving me a 'don't try to carry it yourself' look

"it was really good, apart from seeing christina and alexia, but yeah it was really great. my parents said they would like to meet you next time"

"well i'd love to meet your parents" jonah says smiling, i know they are gonna get along with him so well

"should we get back to the dorms now?" jonah asks and i nod following him outside, he walks into he parking lot which confuses me and he pulls out some keys and i hear the car that jonah is walking towards unlock, he opens the door and my confusion grows

"you got a car?" i ask excitedly "yeah i passed my test a while back and i decided to finally get a car"

"that's so cool i love this car so much" jonah laughs at my reaction and takes my bags and puts them into the back seat and i go to look at his car more

"come on jas, let's get in the car, i promise we can look at my car properly in the morning when it's light"

"okay" i say and sit in the passenger seat watching jonah's every move as he starts to drive to the dorms

the car runs so smooth and he has a little air freshener hung from the mirror and it's shaped like a coffee cup, only it smells like cherries

"what made you choose cherry?" i asked out of curiosity "it was the nicest smelling one and i like the fact that it looked like a coffee cup" i laugh at his obsession with coffee

i wake up to the sound of my alarm and reach to turn it off, i bury my head into the pillow and groan, it's too early to get up

i flick the covers of me and roll out of bed, i shower and get ready with 10 minutes before i need to leave to meet jonah to go to our classes

i hear a knock on the door so i shout "come in!" jonah walks in with a smile and his bag on his back "morning" he says way to cheerfully

"you're too loud for it to be morning, did we sleep in or something?"

"nope i'm just in a good mood" jonah says and i nod and go to get my bag, i check my phone one last time before putting it in my pocket and leaving my room

we walk to our classes together but since jonah's is closer than mine i know i will have to leave him soon

"you still need to show me your car properly" i say remembering what jonah said last night "yeah i know we can do it at lunch or something, maybe we can drive somewhere different than usual to get our lunch

"sounds good" i say nodding and we arrive at jonah's class so we say bye to each other and i carry on walking

i take my phone out of my pocket and check that my mom hasn't messaged me or anything else important

i don't realise it but i walk into someone and we both end up stopping "sorry i wasn't looking where i was going" i say putting my phone back in my pocket before looking up to see who i walked into

zach. of course it was zach.

"hey no it's fine, honestly" his eyes look into mine and i want to carry on walking as fast as i can in the opposite direction of him

"i should get going i need to get to my class" i say and i start to walk away hoping he doesn't stop me

"wait" i look down to see his hand in mine and he gently pulls me to look in his direction again
