twenty eight

i wake up, get out of bed and go to the bathroom to go to the toilet and wash my face

once i'm done i go downstairs and walk into the kitchen

"i made pancakes" my mom says and i smile "oh my god i love you mom!" i say and put syrup on my pancakes

"these are so good" i say and take another bite "so what are you doing today?" my mom asks and i finish my mouthful before speaking

"well this morning i'm meeting the girls and then this afternoon i can do anything"

"do you wanna do some baking with me?" she asks and i nod "yes!"

i'm like an overexcited 5 year old when it comes to baking with my mom, i just love it so much

i knock on the oh so familiar door and await an answer. about a minute later the door opens and a familiar face appears; alexia's mom

"hello stranger!" she says to me smiling before inviting me in and embracing me in a quick hug, she shouts alexia and then tells me to go up to her room

i make my way up the stairs feeling very nostalgic being in this house again

i knock on alexia's bedroom door and go inside, gabbie, christina and alexia were all sat on the bed on their phones

they looked up, all saw me and they scarily all put their phones down and came over to me and hugged me in sync

"we missed you!" gabbie says and then christina agrees with her and hugs me again

we go to sit on the bed and have our catch-up

i start by telling them the positives that they've missed out on and then i move onto the whole zach situation and the party

"oh so that's why you didn't respond to him on the group chat last night?" christina asks and i nod

"wow that's a dickhead move" gabbie says before adding "him i mean not you" i laugh "yeah i know what you meant"

when i get back to my parents house i go upstairs to put on a hoodie and some sweats because i like to be comfortable if i'm going to do baking

i hear my phone ding so i go to get it to see what it was

i wish you knew how sorry i am

i just decide to ignore him. once i get back to LA i'm gonna let him explain just so i can hear what he has to say

i put my phone on silent and put it on charge before i go downstairs to start baking with my mom

we ended up making an apple pie and i made a mess with the icing sugar because when i put it on the spoon to sprinkle over the top my dad walked in and scared me so i dropped the spoon

it was okay though we all laughed about it and then cleaned it up once we were done

we had dinner which was so nice and chatted about the week ahead
