daniel's pov
i walk into starbucks and order a smoothie then find a table for us to sit on once everyone else arrives
first to arrive is jack and gabbie, they order and just as they sit down with their drinks christina and alexia walk in
christina goes to order and alexia comes over to us and sits next to me, i hug her and kiss her on the cheek and she smiles and hugs me back

"so spill, we wanna know every little thing you know" christina says when she returns with hers and alexia's drinks
"well how about you guys ask me what you wanna know" i suggest and they all nod "why did she just leave?" alexia asks first
"she said once everything happened with zach she just wanted a fresh start, she also mentioned that she never wanted to have the effect on us that she did"
"how could she not expect us to have that reaction, i mean i've known her and been best friends with her for as long as i can remember" alexia says with sadness in her tone rather than anger
next jack speaks up and asks a question "did you tell her the real reason why zach broke up with her?" i nod "yeah she said she would've understood if he had just told her the truth"
"i knew she would've understood but zach insisted on lying" jack says and i smile slightly "well it's good that she at least knows that he didn't intend to hurt her in the way he did"
"yeah" jack says and i look around waiting for someone else to ask a question but no one does
"she also said that she might be friends with us again and come back to our group at some point" i remembered that jas had mentioned this and since no one has asked about it i thought i should bring it up
"did she say when?" alexia said eagerly "well not really, she said she'd let us back in her life when she's ready and has decided what she wants" i explain
"i guess she's ready then? i mean she did add us all back on instagram, well except zach" gabbie says "wait she still hasn't accepted his request?" christina asks
"zach said this morning that she hasn't so i guess she hasn't" jack says "she accepted us pretty much straight away though" gabbie says and i nod in agreement
"true but we didn't hurt her like zach did" alexia says and shrugs
"oh yeah" gabbie and christina say at the same time
