bonus chapter 2: changed

4 months later

us girls have taken a day away from the boys to catch up and spend some well earned time together so we decided to go to alexia's house

"girls gather round!" christina announces to us, clapping her hands a couple times to get our attention, we all go and sit in a sort of circle shape with christina

"i'm going on a date!" she says smiling we all hug her and tell her things like 'that's amazing' and 'that's great news!'

"so tell us, who's the lucky guy?" gabbie asks her and she smiles and then laughs a little

"don't overreact and i'll explain everything to you guys if you'd like" she pauses and we all nod "corbyn" my jaw drops and christina laughs and closes my mouth with her hand by pushing my chin up

"okay i think we need an explanation" alexia says and tate agrees with her

"okay so basically about a month ago corbyn messaged me again"

"i thought you blocked him?" tate asks "not on instagram"

"ohh" tate replies and christina continues

"he basically apologised for everything that happened and told me that he's changed, that sounded so cliché so i didn't forgive him straight away but he told me that in time he'd prove he had changed. anyway we started messaging more often and i started to notice the change in him, like he no longer would just leave during a conversation he'd either tell me he had to go or when he came back after a while he'd apologise and tell me why he didn't answer and you've gotta admit he would never have done that back in college"

"no he wouldn't have" i say and everyone else agreed

"then about a week ago he asked me if it was okay to facetime each other, i said okay because i wasn't bothered whether we did or not, after that we facetimed every night and then two days ago he asked me meet him so yesterday i met him at starbucks"

"i thought he lived in minnesota?" gabbie asked "well he did but then he moved to LA a while back after he finished college"

"i didn't know that wow, i'm surprised we've never seen him just when we're walking around" alexia says and we all nod

"he then asked me on a date and promised he would make it so much better than last time so i accepted and yeah"

"when's the date?" gabbie asks "friday" christina smiles "that's like, two days away!" i say and she nods looking excited, i'm so happy christina's getting another chance at this because i know she liked corbyn so maybe if he actually has changed this could turn into something great for her

we are all at christina's house waiting for her to get back from her date with corbyn, we were here when she left too and when he picked her up i noticed the change in corbyn, he was actually acting like a decent guy and when he looked at christina you could see by the way that he was looking at her that he was being genuine this time

we hear someone coming upstairs and then christina's door opens, christina walks in with her heels in her hand and then does a little dance when she sees us

"i'm guessing it went well then?" gabbie asks laughing "it was the best date i've ever been on!" she then dances over to her closet and puts her heels away then comes to join us on the bed

"i've finally got a boyfriend!" she yells after a few minutes of silence, we all freak out and hug christina

"where did he take you?" lex asks "this really nice diner, not like the one from minnesota though it was so much bigger and it served the best food i've ever tasted! and then after we ate he told me how much he likes me and obviously i told him i like him too and then he asked me to be his girlfriend so i said yes"

"awhh that's so cute!" tate says and we all nod in agreement

"did y'all kiss?" gabbie asks and christina smiles and blushes "we kissed against his car after leaving the diner and it was starting to rain but neither of us really cared"

"i can't believe it! this is too cute!" i say and side hug christina
