friday

today me, jonah and zach are all going to LA for the weekend

we have been through airport security and now we are just waiting to board the plane

this weekend we are staying at my house but on saturday night everyone is going over to daniel's house for a little reunion sort of thing and also a sleepover because who doesn't love a good sleepover

"mom, dad this is zach, zach this karen and jon" i say introducing them since they haven't met yet

i told my parents everything that happened and that me and zach are friends again and they just told me to not let him hurt me again

we made conversation for a while before we took our bags upstairs, jonah and zach are sharing the spare room and obviously i'm staying in my own room

once i've put my clothes in the wardrobe i go to see what zach and jonah are doing

before i go inside i stand and listen to see if i can hear what they are doing but it's actually really quiet in there

i walk in and see jonah asleep on one of the beds and zach on his phone on the other bed

"he fell asleep" zach chuckles "wow how'd he manage that?" i ask and zach just shrugs with a smile on his face "i went to the toilet and when i came back he was just like that"

i laugh and shake my head "do you wanna go to daniel's?" i ask "yeah but what about jonah?" zach says

"we'll tell my mom where we are going so when he wakes up she can just tell him to go to daniel's" i say and zach nods

"hey mom we're going to daniel's so when jonah wakes up can you tell him where we are?" i say to my mom when we get downstairs

"yeah sure i can" she replies and we leave to go to daniel's

i knock on the door and zach stands close behind me. anna answers the door and she smiles when she sees who it is

"hey jas, hey zach, daniel's upstairs in his bedroom so just go up" she says and we thank her and go upstairs

"hey daniel" i say as i walk into his bedroom, he was playing on his xbox though and he didn't turn around so he didn't see zach

"hey jas, won't be a sec and then i'll turn this off" he says "okay that's fine"

i signal to zach for him to do something and he walks over to where daniel is and sits just a little behind him but doesn't say anything for a few minutes

"you know, there's a person behind that tree waiting to kill you" zach says and daniel nods "thanks" he says but then he realised that i didn't say that and his head turns

"zach!" he yells and puts his arms around zach's shoulders "bro i didn't know you were here with jas as well"

"yeah, well jonah fell asleep so he wasn't much company" they both laughed, i went to sit down with them too

"are you guys still coming over tomorrow night?" daniel asks and we both nod "yep" i say and put my head on zach's shoulder because i'm tired

"good because everyone can't wait to see you both, and jonah too. jack is especially excited to see you zach"

"awh i think we need a ship name" i say and take my head off zach's shoulder. we stop to think about what the ship name would be "jachary" me and daniel say at the same time

"guysss?! i'm straight and jack's got gabbie" zach says "yeah but i still ship" daniel says and i laugh "me too, i'm just gonna use your toilet daniel, which door is it again?" i say

"opposite and down two" he says "okay bye dudes" i say and leave the room

zach's pov

"you two seem to have gotten close again" daniel says once the door closes behind jas "you think?"

"yeah you should date again" he says and i shake my head "we can't, i mean i'd love to but we just can't" i say and daniel frowns "why not?"

"we agreed we weren't gonna be anything more than friends"

"how long ago did you make that agreement?" daniel asks and i think

"probably about a month ago maybe longer, i can't remember" i say "that proves my point, you agreed that ages ago and now you guys are closer feelings are gonna get thrown into the mix as well" daniel says

"i've always had feelings for her" i say and daniel nods "just see how she is in the next few days, maybe try hold her hand, hug her a couple times, flirt with her, just see if she reacts to it"

i'm about to answer but then jas walks into the room "anna just told me that your mom made cookies and she said we can go and have some if we want"

"come on then let's go and get some" daniel says and we stand up to follow her downstairs
