jasmine's pov
it's been 4 days since the party and zach hasn't called, messaged or tried talking to me
i've only seen him once too and that was yesterday in literature
i'm kinda glad he hasn't tried talking to me but at the same time i really wish he would, just to at least show some signs of still wanting to be friends
what he did has hurt me though, i didn't think zach being with another girl would bother me but i did and i can't get the image out of my head
i stand up from my bed to get a drink, tate isn't here and jonah is doing some sort of extracurricular activity so i'm alone in my room not knowing what to do
i take a sip of my drink and sit back on my bed, i decide to message my mom because why not

hey mom

hi honey, how are you?
jas
i'm okay
mom
that's good then, when are you next coming to visit? we miss you
jas
can i come this weekend?
mom
that sounds great! i can't wait already! will jonah be coming too?
jas
i don't know yet, i think i might just come on my own
mom
okay well it's up to you
a small knock on my door makes me look up from my phone and freeze to try and listen out for who it is
"jas, it's zach" well it took him long enough, i'm gonna be stubborn since it took him 4 days "go away i don't want to talk to you" i say and i hear him sigh
"please just let me explain everything to you" he says, i don't want to hear his excuses "no please just go" i say and walk over to my hoodie from this morning and pull out my airpods
i put them in so i can't hear zach anymore and i carry on messaging my mom for a little while
about 25 minutes later i take out one of my airpods to listen if zach's gone
i don't hear anything so i assume he's gone

"heyyy what did i miss?" jonah says as he walks into my room "not much, i mean zach came here but i told him to go away and he didn't listen so i put my airpods in and ignored him until he left. oh and i'm going to stay with my parents this weekend" i say
"he's an idiot leaving it 4 days and then begging you to let him in, and i guess that means you'll be leaving friday then?" jonah asks and i nod
