(A/n: Heyyy y'all! Sorry to make y'all wait so long. I was...fucked up. But I'm chilling now lol. And i'm just gonna stop saying 'last chap' until I'm done. Cause here I am with a chapter that's not the last...and a bit dirty...😌 But enjoy anyway!)

Reader's POV:

Sitting on the steps of the orphanage with a notepad and pen you scribble down ideas for Doug's surprise party. Will more like doodles.

You had no idea what to do, or what really intrigued him, besides all things sexual. Giving your body away to him is always fun, but it just doesn't seem like enough this time around.

Since you are in an official relationship it has to be sensational. It's only right.

Fuck... What does he truly love? I can't fail at this...

"What are you concentrating on so hard, dear (F/n)?" A fellow coworker questions, looking over your shoulder.

"Oh, hey Laos."

"Hey, you. What's up?"

"Thinking of party ideas for a friend. I'm not getting very far..." You close up the book, placing it in your pocket.

"For Doug, right?"

Eyes widening, "H-how did you--"

The maroon headed male took a seat beside you, lighting up a cigarette. "Everyone knows. He used to stay here, and he was quite troublesome."

"You've worked here that long? Just how old are you, Laos?"

"Thirty-eight." He proudly grins, enjoying the hint of shock on your face. "But when I met Doug I was twenty-one. He had a bad habit of stealing from markets and picking fights."

"Stealing what?"

Chuckling, "Meat. The gamey type. He really had a thing for Duck and Rabbit. It makes me think animals raised him."

Laughing, "I can totally see that."

"Maybe you can whip that up for him." He offers the remainder of his cigarette.

"Maybe I can." You grow thankful towards the man. "And no thanks."

Blinking in surprise, "You're refusing a cigarette? The end is near." He jokes, putting it out.

"I've been getting these intense migraines when I smoke them. So I'm chewing gum now." Speaking of the said item, made you pop one in your mouth. "Doug also hates it."

Shaking head, "Anything for your man, huh? I should have made a move on you sooner." Laos stands to his feet. "But try talking to people who know him. I'm gonna head back inside."

Smiling, "Thanks for the suggestions, Laos. I appreciate it."

"What are co-workers for. Dinner prep in ten." He says before walking off.

"Okay. Be there in a second."

Reaching back into your pocket for the notebook, you jot down the names of people you believe are closest to him. They ought to be able to give some friendly insight on his likes and dislikes.

So far the list consisted of Galahad, Loretta, Theo, and Chad. It seems like a good start. Maybe you can even get some subtle hints from the man himself.

The end of your shift arrived in what felt like minutes. Your paycheck was waiting for you at the front desk, making you anxious to leave.

Not only that though. He was waiting. At least he should be.

Your lively steps alert those at the office clocking out and grabbing their checks as well. Many of them did just that, taking their leave soon after. However, you got caught.
